"The food is set, drinks is out, and the house is enchanted, we don't need any incidents similar to Christmas." Ashly stated as she started sage-ing the house.
"You're really taking this serious, I see." Gabby teased.
"All I want is a normal day with just us, too many people know we're a witch already and it puts Luke in danger since he's an official whitelighter and he hasn't erased their memories." Ashly replied.
"Jenna and Jen doesn't know we're witches and none of your friends know you're a witch." Gabby said following with, "Wait do you even have friends?" She asked in a confused concerning tone.
"I have...I have associa... why you all up in my business?!" Ashly sniped.
"Damn,that's sad." Gabby replied smirking shaking her head.
"Speaking of Jenna and Jen, why'd they come down here all the way from California?" Ashly asked.
"Oh they came as a surprise and they missed me at The Turtle Shell, which I'm thinking about selling." Gabby said giving a slight shrug.
"Oh no, really, that shop was your baby though." Ashly said in a surprised sympathetic tone.
"I know, I know but, my shop is in California and I'm down here in Georgia and now, I'm a witch, it's just too much and once I sell it I'll have enough money to venture out for other things I wanna do, it's just not fair to my friends taking care of the shop for me." Gabby said sighing.
"Wow, in a million years, I'd never thought I'll see you vent like this, my little sister is growing up." Ashly said as she longed giving Gabby a big hug.
"See... why do we have to do this?" Gabby griped.
"Oh stop it, you love me, you love all your sisters even Normani." Ashly said as she 'booped' Gabby's nose.
While Ashly and Gabby were standing in the middle of the hallway, they hear the doorknob rattling from upstairs.
"Normani." Ashly and Gabby said in unison.
Gabby and Ashly came jogging down the stairs to greet their younger sister.
Soon as Normani opened the door she sees two of her sisters just looking at her.
"Why y'all looking at me like that?" Normani said with a smile but, confused expression on her face as she placed her stuff down walking in the house.
"We we're just talking about you that's all, and it's your first New Years with us!" Ashly exclaimed. "Aren't you excited?" Ashly asked.
"Of course I am, why wouldn't I be?" Normani nonchalantly replied. "Well, who all gone be here?"
"Just us." Gabby and Ashly tilted their heads sensing something was wrong with their sister.
Eventually, Ashly used her telepathy as her purple heart necklace glowed.
"Awe..." Ashly whined.
"Awe what?!" Gabby and Normani blurted.
"You're thinking about ya lil friend Blair, what's wrong?" Ashly asked.
"First of all, that's an invasion of privacy, and second of all don't worry about it, it's nothing." Normani said trying to change the subject but, Ashly wasn't letting up.
"I already read part of your mind, please don't make me go deeper." Ashly groaned.
"Woah, that's a huge pause." Gabby said making Mani smile a lil bit.
