It was a freezing cold night with the snow flowing. A thin layer of white snow like a huge soft wool blanket flashing silver covered over the silent streets.

It was Christmas day, the special day for every family to get together and have a fancy dinner beside the cozy fireplace. However, not for Vicky. Right now she's wandering in the streets all by herself.

''I can't believe I have to stand here in the freaking cold night, this is the worst Christmas I've ever had!!!" She shouted loudly but there was nobody responding.

The only thing she could hear is a breath of frosty wind chilled her to the bones.

Today was not her day. First, she was grounded because she had a fight with her classmates at school. She got in the first place on the final exam so she called her classmates idiots. The teacher asked her to say sorry but not only she didn't apologize but also she thought it wasn't her fault. Her parents punished her for that. Second, the ferry trip she was looking forward to for a long time is canceled because her grandfather was sick, and she compiained about it the whole day.

Worse of all, a serious fire disaster happened in her mansion last night, and she hasn't heard from her parents since then. This was driving her bonkers. It seemed a bit too much for a fourteen-year-old girl to handle all this situation in one day.

The warm lights revealed from the ceiling windows and the smelling of appetizing food just drove her crazier."Where the hell is mom and dad!? I want to go home..."

Huddling herself up in the corner, she felt annoyed and helpless. The moment she dived her hand into the coat pocket , she found a box of matches.

"This is the only thing I have now..."

Longing for warmth, she lighted up one of the matches. Surprisingly, it shined so bright and lightened up her whole world with a sweet soft voice.

''Hi, I'm Peter Pan, the genie of the matches, you must be Vicky, right?''

Speaking with a energetic voice, A tall boy with red hair in a green suit showed up from the light of the matches, which surprised Vicky.

''The genie of the matches? You must be kidding, right? How do you even know my name?" Filled with suspicious, Vicky thought it was too ridiculous that she must be daydreaming.

"I know you since you're little, miss." Peter answered politely."I'm like your guardian angel or... something like that."

''So... you are my fairy godmother? But you are a boy!!" Vicky stared at Peter from head to toe, still doubting the true identity of him.

"It doesn't matter, you can call me whatever you want, my lady. I'm here to help you." Peter gentlely continued, "I'll give you three wishes to make following by these rules: First, I can't kill anyone, so don't ask me to do that. Second, I can't make anyone fall in love with anybody else. Last but not least, I can't bring people back from death, other than that, anything you wish, my miss."

"Three wishes, huh? Interesting...how can I know you're telling the truth?" Vicky still didn't believe Peter, to her, he just looked like another ordinary teenage boy.

"Well, just give it a try. You just have to light up one of the matches than your wishes will come true." Peter said it genuinely with a confident voice.

"I wish I can fly." Vicky said the most impossible thought which just came up from her mind. "You can't possibily do that."She lighted up the match without a doubt.

"As you wish, my lady." All of the sudden, Vicky felt her body weight losing rapidly, and she was getting lighter and ligter that she was actually floating in the sky like a balloon.
