Kieran had been messing with the perfectly crafted blade of his personally made clip point with a deep silver blue symbol etched into the base for the entirety of the trip. He hadn't been back to his hometown since he left for the academy he chose. He was looking forward to seeing his best buddy again. He had been on social media and phone calls and all that with him but, he didn't really know much about Eric's life after he graduated.

The train finally pulled into the station and there was Eric, jumping and waving at Kieran's window. When he got off the train Eric rushed to give him a hug. He lifted him off the ground as he was a bit taller, then set him back down before grabbing his bulky bags for him.

"Come on," said Eric. "Let's get these to my car." Kieran nodded and followed him to his silver car, it looked kinda junky but he seemed proud of just having it. Eric opened the trunk and Kieran could see two black duffle bags on the bottom before he dropped the other bags on top of them.

"What's in the duffels?" Eric blushed at the question. He said he'd been going to the gym more lately, and that the other bag belonged to a friend of his. They got in the car and Eric drove them to the old diner where they used to go to hang out after school. "This place is still here?" Kieran laughed a little. "What are we doing here anyway?"

"There's a few people I want you to meet" Eric responded excitedly, opening the door to the shoddy old diner. As Kieran got out of the car. They walked in and three guys at a booth in the corner waved them over. They were all wearing similar things to Eric and Kieran tried not to smile as it was a bit silly. Eric rushed over to the table and sat down, urging Kieran to do so as well.
