As one of the leaders in pre-hospital EMT training, Emergency Care Programs of New York stands out among all others. Established in the early 1980's, our programs have trained well over 20,000 people in emergency medical services & techniques. Our graduates have obtained jobs in the New York City area in all phases of Pre-hospitalEmergency Care with the confidence of knowledge in their skills and abilities.
All of our course instructors are trained and certified Emergency Medical Technicians or higher, who have many hours of real job experience. They bring with them not only the knowledge found in the textbooks, but the experience of real life situations. Our instructors can be found teaching courses in all five boroughs of New York City with students not only attending from the NYC tri-state area but from surrounding states and beyond.
The EMT-Basic-Original Training Course is given on an ongoing basis throughout the year, in the five boroughs of New York City (Brooklyn, Bronx, Queens, Manhattan, & Staten Island). The requirements for courses vary as well as the required schedule. Classes are available during the day, weeknights and on weekends, with all courses teaching the most up to date material available. Upon graduation, our students are highly qualified for employment in the pre-hospital profession and are highly sought after by employers.
Emergency Care Programs of New York also offers EMT Training Refresher Courses in the New York City area, with classes beginning on a regular basis. These classes also offer the most upto date information available.
Our AED Training Program provides hands on skills necessary for emergency response during all phases of respiratory and cardiac emergencies. All Automated External Defibrillator (AED) and CPR training courses are also taught by certified EMT's and Paramedics who have many years of real hands on experience as well as a complete knowledge of the most up to date guidelines and techniques. Infant and Child CPR classes are also available. We also offer AED salesand supplies for organizations and the corporate arena.
Standard and advanced first aid training classes are available on a regular basis. These courses are designed to train people to deal with everyday emergencies and should be taken by people entrusted with the care of others. All of our programs can be tailored to meet your group or organizations specific needs.
