~Mykah's P.O.V~

I really don't feel like going to school today. I am so sick and tired of school and I can't wait to graduate.

   "Goodmorning mom."

"Goodmorning child, why do you have a attitude?"

"I don't, you always assuming stuff!"

"Who do you think your talking to, cause you know I will beat yo ass until it can't be beat nomore!"

"I'm too old to get beat."

"Do you really think I care?"

"Bye."

Man, my momma always gets on my nerves. She always assuming stuff and having attitudes with everybody. Can't nobody be happy around here!

I walked out of the house and went to go meet my friends at the bus stop.

"Hey, MyMy!" they all said in unison when they saw me.

"Hey ya'll,"  I said so dryly.

"Why you sound so dry?" my friend Armana asked.

"You already know it got something to do with my momma, but I dont want to talk about it."

"Alright, ok." said Armana.

I didn't really feel like talking anymore, because my momma had already ruined my whole mood. I grabbed one of my backpack straps and started to fidget around with it. It took a long time for the bus to get here. Why is it running so late? When the bus finally pulled up, Armana, Teisha, Fawn and I, all rushed to the back to get the more spacious seats.

"Omg, I can't wait to see the new boy!" said Teisha excitedly.

"Oh girl, I hope he is finneeeee!" said Fawn.

"Yaaassss!" Armana exclaimed.

I just sat there and listened to them rant on about how fine they hope the new boy will be.

TBH I hope he is fine too, just so I can stare at him and wish he were mine.

I just transferred schools because we moved to the other side of Atlanta. I hope this new school is better than the last. I hope there is a girl that catches my eye.
