Steve's Pov:

I smiled as I watched a little girl run around. I chuckled as I watched Bucky try to keep up with her, she may be small but she sure was energetic tonight. I stood up and bent down onto one knee "Ila come here sweetie", I called her hoping it would settle her down. "Coming Daddy!", she said as she ran to me. I picked her up and hugged her "how's my buttercup", I asked her using her nickname I gave her.
"I'm good.  Bucky let me have ice cream and candy!", she said a bit hyper but that's what a five year old is hyper. "Bucky I left for an hour, I thought you could handle it", I said looking at Bucky
"not my fault.. Ok maybe the ice cream but the candy I have no idea what's she's talking about", said Bucky.
I just laughed lightly "the deadliest man tamed by a little girl",
"Hey watch it pale", said Bucky
I set Ila down and we all walked back to the Stark tower to see how things were. Ila always loved going there.
I couldn't help but smile at her as the three of us walked, she looks a lot like me but she does look like her mother.
As we walked a few ladies stopped and said how cute it was to see a girl and her Daddy spending time together, if only they knew.
Once we got to the tower and went inside Ila ran to see Sam. She loved being around him, then she went to see Natasha.
"hyper as always I see", said Natasha smiling. "Yes and some of Bucky fault, "I said looking at her.
"Steve you look like you haven't slept well is everything ok?", asked Sam walking over with Ila clung to his leg.
"yes I'm fine", I said looking at both.
"Ila don't trip uncle Sam ok be careful", I said to her
"yes Daddy", she smiled.
Tony and I and the gang talked as Ila ran around the room having a sugar crash. Better not to let Bucky near candy and ice cream when he's with Ila alone I thought as I watched her lay on the floor falling asleep
"poor kid first sugar crashes are the worst", said Sam looking at her.
After some time I picked her up with her still sleep and carried her home.
I laid her on the bed and tucked her in kissed her forehead and left the room until morning.
