Ila Rogers - The Daughter of Captain America

Chapter 7

It was late one night and I couldn't sleep I woke up I looked around  the room it was dark out so I tried to go back to sleep but I couldn't.  These nightmares of what happened to me was coming back.  I laid there for an hour before going to my Dad's room. 

Steve's pov:
I had been sleeping I when I woke up to someone coming into my room.  I looked up and saw Ila.  "Daddy I can't sleep there back again", said Ila standing by the door.  I knew what she meant by that and I could hear by her voice she was scared.  I told her to come over to the bed so we can sleep again.  Ila got into the bed and laid down but I could feel her trembling. 
I pulled her close to me so she knew she was safe and it was ok.  I remember what happened to ten  years ago and how I thought I'd lost her. I could feel her relaxing as she feel asleep.  She's my greatest precious treasure when I thought I'd lost her and  Bucky, Nataha and had assure me we would found her. I told her  if she was dead when we found her I would never forgive myself. Natsha told me Bucky and her would still  be alive. So I kept look I for her until we found her. I was relieved when we found her. She was hurt badly but she was alive which made me thankful.  If I lost her I wouldn't know what to do. I kissed her forehead and feel back asleep while holding her. 

Bucky's Pov:
I woke up in the morning and had gone to wake up Ila for school but she wasn't in her room which made me wonder.  She didn't come to my room last night maybe she's with Stevie.
I went to his room and checked sure enough Ila was with him.  I left and called the school to let them know Ila wasn't coming today.  After eating some breakfast I went and checked on them again both were still sound asleep.  Ila must have dreamed that  again since Steve was holding onto her like he wasn't gonna let her go.
Ever since 10  years ago he's been very protective of her as have I.
Sometimes I have hold her tightly while cover her eyes with my hand to calm her down. Poor thing been through so much I want to help her since I know the feeling of what she went through.  She was four when a Hydra soldier took her from Steve ,  finally when she was twelve Steve  found and took her home but I knew she would be having nightmares after what happened to her.  But I'll let her talk about it when she's ready.

Ila's pov:
I woke up and saw Daddy holding me close to him. I know he blames himself for what happened but I keep trying to tell him it wasn't his fault.  But Daddy keeps blaming himself no matter what I try to tell him. 
I went to eat breakfast and I saw 
Papa Bucky. 
"good morning Papa Bucky", I said
hugging him tightly.  "Hey kiddo how are feeling", he asked hugging back 
"i-im ok", I said hiding my face in his chest.  He strokes my hair "You know I'm always around if you want to talk", he said.  I looked up at him
And smiles at him "Thanks papa Bucky  ", I said.  He smiles at me.
I couldn't be any happier knowing Papa  Bucky and Dad were keeping me safe. I stayed hugging Bucky for a bit before he made me breakfast.
