The next morning Sam wen to grab his bag from the garage, when he seen Chase leaning against his car.
" You know she's not up yet right. " He said with a little laugh.
Chase stood up straight and let out a breath.
" Is she okay? "
" What do you mean? "
" She freaked and kicked me to the curb last night. "
Sam knew that he was hurting when he realized what she did.
" Does this have something to do with those nightmares? "
" She told you about them? "
" I told her she needed to talk to someone about them. "
" We are getting her help Chase. "
Chase ran his hand over his face.
" She's going to be okay, I promise. " Sam said pulling on a smile, wanting to believe what he just said.
Before he could go back up the driveway, Chase spoke up.
" If anything. "
" I'll call you. "
" Are you sure you want to do this? " Dean asked as I set my heavy bag by the door and pulled on my sunglasses.
" Well it's kinda late to turn back now. "
" Follow behind us, it's only about a 4 hour drive. " Jade smiled.
4 hour drive....lovely. I mirrored her smile, then we all got into our separate cars and made the long drive to the bunker. When I parked, I grabbed my bag from the trunk and looked at Bobby.
" This is a safe house? "
" Just wait. I thought the exact same thing until we got inside. " Emma smiled, opening the heavy metal door.
My bag hit the floor at the bottom of the stairs with a thud and I looked around.
" This place is warded from everything and everyone. " Jade set her bag on the big table.
" Not bad. " I said.
I explored while everyone else had a beer.
" She seems like she's doing alright so far. " Bobby smiled at Sam as he pulled Jade onto his lap.
" She's a tough kid. ' Sam smiled.
Jade put her hand on his.
" I'm gonna go get some sleep. "
He kissed her softly, then let out a breath when she disappeared into the hallway.
" How are you doing Sammy? " Dean asked.
Sam ran his hand over his face and looked around at the big space that he had missed.
" As much as I hate that she has to be pulled into this life. "
He looked at his brother.
" I missed this. "
Dean raised his bottle.
" I'll drink to that. "
Bobby looked at Sam.
" I know you didn't want this life for her Sam, but think about it this way. You are one of the best Hunters there is and then you have us and Jade. Who better to teach her everything she needs to know. "
