"You didn't answer him in on go?" Lorraine asked right after I finished narrating the story. "Why didn't you?"
I could only shrug as I roll my eyes. "Of course I didn't. First off, I don't like him. Second off, I don't know him well. Third off, I'm not sure about his affection about me," I explained calmly. "Of course, if it was you in the same situation, would you answer right away?"
Lorraine remained silent, thinking about my question. Well, she has her own boyfriend who is also popular like Ares.
But Marj, who kept on squealing up til now, slammed both of her hands on my desk. A wide-spread grin was plastered in her face. "Of course I would!" she exclaimed in her day-dreaming face. "He's the prince! A royal and a superstar! You should just get him!"
"Well," I glared at her, "I'm not the type who loves to fantasize about hot guys unlike that girl over there." I gave a pointed look at Marj. "Besides, I don't trust him."
"Isn't there suppose to be a "yet" in that one?" Lorraine asked.
"Fine," I sighed. "Not yet."
"But you'll meet after class, right?" she asked again. "Like some kind of after class date?"
"Date!" Marj squealed.
I shook my head. "It isn't a date," I corrected. My cheeks were starting to get warm. "Just some normal hang out with him, you know. Getting to know each other."
"It's the same thing, Alice!" Marj exclaimed. Shucks--- she's drooling.
"It is not," I insisted. "This girl is plainly hopeless.
"I'm trying not to side with any of you, but a hang out can still be considered as a date," Lorraine said as she raised a hand and I glared at her back.
"Don't forget the word CONSIDER," I glared at both girls. "And really, I DON'T CONSIDER it as a date."
"Tsk," Marj rolled her eyes at me. "Just the same."
"Not the same."
"The same."
"Not the same."
"The same."
"Not the same."
"The same."
"Not the same."
"Not the same."
"Not the same."
"The---Wait. What?"
"It was you who got mistaken in the pattern, Marj," Lorraine looked over her.
I quickly flashed a triumphant sneer at her. Marj rolled her eyes and pouted. Lorraine sighed.
"This is plainly stupid," she sighed.
"It is a date!" Marj repeated.
"IT. IS. NOT." I exclaimed.
"It's a---"
"ENOUGH!" Lorraine screeched, hands covering her ears. "If you darn guys want to argue, just go---- SHIZ!"
Marj and I stopped, looking stunned at the pissed off Lorraine.
