yoongi smiles at himself in the mirror before suddenly feeling queasy. he rushes to the bathroom and turns the sink on.
"keep it together min. you'll be okay. it's not that big right? he'll say yes. right? but what if he doesn't oh my god. what if he finds someone better and then leaves me? oh my god why does my mind do this to me," yoongi groans then hears a soft knock on his bathroom door.
"yoongi hyung? are you okay?" namjoon's voice is mildly muddled due to the heavy door and ringing in yoongi's ears.
"huh? actually no. can you come in here?" yoongi knew that the maknae line was out today, so it gave yoongi the chance to talk to the namjin couple and possibly hoseok.
namjoon opens the door before slipping inside the dimly lit room of the second oldest bangtan member. he closes the door before sitting on yoongi's bed and looking at the distraught male.
"what's going on hyung?" namjoon smiles brightly at yoongi.
"how should i propose to taehyung? i want it to be special and amazing and i want to make him to think it's the cutest way of asking him?" yoongi rambles on before collapsing on his bed next to namjoon.
"what about asking him the way everything started? i know proposing over instagram is kinda shallow so maybe not completely ask him. when are you wanting to do this?" namjoon smiles brightly.
"tonight? i kind of already have a picnic planned for when the boys get back but i don't know when they will be back," yoongi grips namjoon's hand in fear.
"want me to help? do you have the place set up already? what about food?" namjoon looks at yoongi fondly.
"i was gonna order panda express because tae loves panda. and i have the location picked out but not set up yet. what if we have tae meet me there?" yoongi looks up at namjoon.
"let me call jungkook okay? jimin likes to spill," namjoon chuckles as he grabs his phone then calls jungkook and puts him on speaker.
"hey hyung what's up?" jungkook asks namjoon.
"am i on speaker?" namjoon asks.
"nah. jimin and tae are ordering starbucks then we are going to the park. why?" jungkook became quizzical.
"i need you to keep taehyung away from yoongi and the house for a bit okay? taegi jungkook," namjoon chuckles softly.
"OH MY GOD OKAY!! i have to go now. ill keep my mouth closed. maybe we'll buy him a new outfit. picnic?" jungkook giggles softly.
"yup. bye guk. thank you," namjoon hums before hanging up.
yoongi runs to his closet and grabs the things to set up the small picnic. he puts some black ripped skinny jeans on along with a plain t-shirt and a hoodie. he slips his shoes on before looking at namjoon and grinning his gummy smile.
"min yoongi, you are whipped," namjoon laughs softly.
"and?" yoongi giggles softly.
"i am literally so happy that you and tae found each other," namjoon smiles brightly at yoongi.
"you and me both dude," yoongi grins at him.
"alright, so, step one is what?" namjoon asks the older.
"get the picnic area set up?" yoongi replies with a questioning tone.
"yes. when do you want to go set it up?" namjoon stands up from the
"now?" yoongi looks at namjoon and blushes a deep red.
"of course sweetheart. let's go," namjoon grins and walks to the front door.
yoongi grabs the picnic basket before smiling softly at the sight. he grabs the rest of items that he needs then stuffs them inside the basket. yoongi walks to namjoon's car shakily. god he was so nervous. taehyung was going to say yes. there was no doubt in his mind. well maybe a ninety-five to five change but hey he has a huge chance. namjoon starts his car before placing his hand on yoongi's knee. yoongi smiles at namjoon before the younger male takes off. namjoon hums softly to the radio as they drive to a nearby park that's secluded. yoongi grins when he sees the park. namjoon parks his car before yoongi rushes out of the car.
skip to after setting the picnic area up
taehyung hums softly. he had gotten a text message a little over thirty minutes ago to meet yoongi at their park. taehyung was excited to say the least. after so long they finally could go on a date. taehyung is currently sitting in jungkook's car happily. he just wants to be with his boyfriend. once they turned on the familiar street, tears filled up in taehyung's eyes. he could see the beautiful fairy lights and picnic basket set up along with his boyfriend sitting on their blanket. taehyung rushes out of the car once its parked and into his boyfriend's arms.
"hi baby," yoongi grins at his boyfriend.
"hi yoongi!" taehyung places a soft kiss to his boyfriend's lips.
"i figured you would like to have a date with me since we've been so busy," yoongi grins brightly at his boyfriend.
"i just want to be with you baby," taehyung grins at his boyfriend before kissing his nose.
"aren't you just the cutest. also i got panda express," yoongi smiles brightly.
"have i ever mentioned how much i love you?" taehyung groans out as he grabs the chinese takeout food.
after they finish eating
yoongi bites his lip as he grabs his phone. taehyung is laying down while looking at the sky. he quickly types the caption before posting his instagram post.

taehyung looks up at yoongi after he reads the post. yoongi was kneeling on one knee while looking at the male. he held the ring box open smiling.
"of course i will become min taehyung," taehyung cries as yoongi slips the ring on his finger before being engulfed by taehyung's arms.
"i love you my beautiful fiance," yoongi whispers.
"i love you too my gorgeous fiance," taehyung presses their lips together.
