The Sun came first, lone yet not without company.

Many stars danced across the empty black canvas but no one quite like the Sun.

Still but moving in zillions of firey ways the sun stay and
watched the stars shimmer and speak with one another

'Why must the stars get to have so many friends yet I am all alone?
Why am I so different? For I shine as bright as them and breath with warmth, I am not so different yet not similar in the slightest'

The Sun could not leave, could not talk to the other stars

Shackled by sadness and locked away with a key that could not be salvaged the sun waited

With all his heart he wished;
wished for a friend
and a friend he got.

Far across the emptiness of the open space appeared a beautiful pale goddess

She had no light but she shined pale white

The Sun watched with idol curiosity for the Sun finally realized his wish came true

The Sun breathed deep and sparkled his brightest

'I will shine for her, so she may shine with me'

The brighter he got the more light shined against her pale skin
She basked in it lovingly feeling the warmth and pride rolling from the waves of heat

With such distance she dared to move closer to the brilliant Sun

Each step forward the faster their hearts beat yet in synch to the same steady ryhme of love

Slowly the Moon leaned forward, the sun beaming brighter than any star in the depths of the sky
their lips met

Everything seemed to still, for a brief moment the two lovers had anything they could ever want, connected

Like magnets when two same sides try to meet they were forced apart

The Sun couldn't see the pale beauty anymore

His shining beams were dim with sadness, it seem as if he could never shimmer again

Instead a young spirit lay in front of him clad in deep thriving green with hair flowing like rivers

He breathed in and clenched his golden fists
Soft rays caressed the small yet beautiful sprite

He watched as she opened her eyes

He saw life and happiness in the crystal blue depths
Such eyes reminded him of his Moon

He quivered feeling his curiosity disburse
His rays fading leaving the sun and little earth in darkness

Till earth let out a shattering cry
for Earth could not survive in the cold without his golden rays of warmth

Immediately the Sun burst with heat

He could not let little Earth down like this
Through his sorrows the Sun watched Earth grow and thrive with life

He was happy yet incomplete again

Unknowing to him they were not alone

Within the midst of the murky dark ocean of stars the Moon was waiting

The Moon could not see her Sun anymore, Only the shadows he casted

Determination was encasing her mind

She wanted her Sun, her heart could not beat alone anymore, she set off like a shooting star toward him

Finally meeting him face to face

They connected once again

Skin to skin and heart to heart

Yet something was quite wrong

The Moon soaked but all the Sun's rays leaving the Earth in great distress

Selfishness and want took hold of the Moon's heart for just that moment till she broke their entanglement

The Moon knew the Earth needed him more than her

The Moon backed away once again back to the other side of
Earth where she could not obstruct the way of the light and heat from the Sun

The two lovers separated yet not diconnected

For they may not physically be with each other, they always had their memories which no soul could ever take away
though their story may be sad they still have that selfish love in their hearts

Love that reassures them for brief moments

Brief moments that only love can push the Sun and Moon to do

A kiss

These brief moments are called eclipses
