Ah the oasis.2 a place to hide away from the shit heap that is real life. Of course a few years back, we almost lost the oasis. Me and my crew were on that battlefield, we fought with our fellow gamers against the destructive IOI corporation.
That was when the oasis was rebooted and given to a clan who could barely run in a straight line much less run a galaxy sized game! Not that I could do a better job of course, I'm just a guy who flies these through the digital space and enjoys exploring. The name's BLA5TD0WN... well that's what almost everyone calls me in the oasis. In reality, my name's Y/n.

I look through my friends list and search for Genji. I press his name and it connects us into a video call Y/n: "hey Daito, what are you doing?"
Genji: "hey Y/n. Just going through some of your old recordings. There's a lot of racing on the key track."
Y/n: "yeah, it was a fun track."
Genji: "unbelievable, I can't believe you used to race on that track, and never went for the prize at the end."

Genji: "because you're a moron and already famous for being a daredevil pilot and no one knows who the hell you are."

That's Daito, or Genji as he prefers. Overwatch skins are his pride and joy. Gets paid well for them too. Of course he trusts me enough to tell me his real name and not use a voice synthesiser around me which I respect. He's a nice guy, if a little stubborn sometimes.
