hyunjin didn't know how to feel. he just wanted to go home, but minho had to want to see jisung again. they honestly piss him off with how confusing the two were. they were like teengaers with raging hormones, trying to act all angsty. hyunjin gawked at his soulmate, all he did was look at the guy and all of a sudden colors sprouted everywhere. he didn't even know this guy, but that wasn't the problem. the problem was that he found his soulmate, and he didn't want to find his soulmate ever. the guy in front of him nervously fiddled with his fingers, looking at everywhere but hyunjin. hyunjin sighed and rubbed his face with one hand, "don't tell me he's some wimpy loser..." he muttered out loud unconsciously. the guy looked at hyunjin and scowled, "excuse me? who're you calling a wimpy loser?" hyunjin looked up with a blank face, he was so done with everything and just wanted to go back to the comfort of his home. hyunjin rolled his eyes and sighed again, "obviously you, who else?" the guy rubbed his temples in frustration, hyunjin smirked, liking how the guy was already frustrated. the guy looked up and held his hand out, "look, let's just get this over with, i'm seungmin. since we're now so-" hyunjin shot the boy a glare, "we're not soulmates." seungmin frowned as he furrowed his brows, "dude, whether you like it or not, we are. so, let's establish some rules." hyunjin scoffed, he crossed his arms as he looked away, "you think just because we're so called-" hyunjin brought his hands up as he did air quotations, "'soulmates', you're the boss of me? i don't think so." seungmin raised a brow at him, "mm-hm, sure. whatever you say, tough guy." hyunjin gritted his teeth, he stepped closer seungmin and poked the brunette's chest harshly, "you really piss me off, you know that? so, listen here before I get even more mad. just because we're soulmates doesn't mean we can date. got it, dandy boy?" seungmin gasped, he pushed hyunjin's finger out of the way as he pointed his finger back at hyunjin, "dandy boy? hoe, don't act tough. yo greaser lookin' tree ass can't do shiz, and you and i both know it. i wouldn't date you even if we were the only people alive." before hyunjin could reply seungmin crossed his arms and spoke once again, "i never wanted to date you, we just need to establish some rules so we both don't die, get depressed, or some other shiz like that." hyunjin rolled his eyes, but complied. some soulmates were known to die or end up clinically depressed when away from their soulmate in a long time. he shivered, he did not want to end up like that. hyunjin nodded his head as he raised a brow, "then what do you suggest, princess?" seungmin huffed, "first, don't ever call me 'princess', second i suggest we meet up once or twice a week. i think twice sounds good to me, since you never know what might happen, but you choose your pick." hyunjin looked away in thought, he glanced at the direction where changbin and felix were. changbin was the only there, he was leaning against the wall with arms crossed and a pissed expression. hyunjin gulped nervously, he had to wrap this up quickly. hyunjin raised his hand, still not looking at seungmin, "yeah, twice a week's good. anyways, i gotta-" "nope, i don't think so." seungmin grabbed hyunjin by the arm and dragged him away. hyunjin looked at changbin one last time before looking back at seungmin with an angry expression, "what the fuck, where are we going?!" seungmin didn't reply and stayed quiet, he led hyunjin to the bus stop. he stopped walking to wait for the bus, his grip on hyunjin still there. hyunjin glared at seungmin, "why the hell are we at the bus stop?!" seungmin sighed before looking up at hyunjin, holding a cold tone, "there's something i have to do, and i need you there." hyunjin scoffed, "do you really need to do it today? man, i call bullshit." seungmin let out a frustrated sigh before glaring back at hyunjin, "yes, today! i have to do it today, because it's our first day as soulmates." hyunjin was about to retort, but the bus had come and seungmin was already pulling him in. they sat in a seat near the back, hyunjin being the one sitting by the window. hyunjin turned to seungmin, "what do you mean 'because it's our first day as soulmates'? didn't i tell you that i didn't want to date, why are you making it sound like we are?!" seungmin hit hyunjin's knee, he angrily whispered to hyunjin, "stop fricking yelling! i know, and i don't want to date you either, azzhat! this is just really important, okay? god damn..." seungmin looked away, presumingly ahead. hyunjin scoffed as he looked out the window. hyunjin widened his eyes when he finally noticed, he looked down at their arms, seungmin was holding tightly onto hyunjin's arm at the elbow area. hyunjin frowned, he looked at seungmin about to yell at him to let go, but stopped. he stared at seungmin, noticing the other's soft features. he furrowed his brows as he tilted his head. seungmin glanced hesitantly at hyunjin, "what...? why are you staring at me?" hyunjin widened his eyes before grinning widely, "that's it!" seungmin tried to ignore the feeling of his cheeks heating up, "what's it?" hyunjin began laughing uncontrollably, "you look like a dog!" seungmin stared at him, hyunjin wiped a tear away as he looked up at seungmin, "what? c'mon, don't give me that face, you know it's true." seungmin huffed as he looked away, "fucking unbelievable." he muttered to himself. hyunjin let out one last laugh before looking out the window with a smile on his face. the bus stopped at their stop, seungmin stood up, this time holding hyunjin's hand. hyunjin hoped his hand wasn't sweaty. seungmin led him out the bus as they walked, hand in hand. hyunjin tried to distract himself from thoughts of how seungmin's hand fit perfectly in his. hyunjin sighed and looked at seungmin. seungmin must've noticed hyunjin staring, because he sighed and looked back, "yes?" hyunjin tilted his head, "i noticed how you use substitute words, but still cuss anyway? what's up with that?" seungmin shrugged and looked forward, "been trying not to cuss a lot, but it's still a habit. now, stop 'noticing' so many things." hyunjin nodded his head as he looked away, feeling a bit embarrassed. they walked in the comforting silence as hyunjin was left to his thoughts. he couldn't help but think about seungmin holding his hand. hyunjin shook his head and tried to think of other things. he sighed as he looked ahead. seungmin's hand was really soft.
