Mobile Phone - Free!Rei X Reader [1/2]

Today, Iwatobi Recreation Centre was holding a local swim meet to advertise their new services and newly renovated facilities. The train was packed of people of all ages heading to the event, Iwatobi was a small quiet town so even a swim meet was met with excitement and anticipation. 

‘Rei-chan~ We’re already here! Are you on the way?’ reads the mail from enthusiastic Nagisa.

‘Yes, I am currently on my way. I missed the previous train so I will be late.” he replies but fumbles after sending the message.

*CLACK* 

The black and white mobile phone clatters on the floor of the train, out of his reach. 

It was tight and claustrophobic with so many bodies pressed together. His purple eyes dart around as his brain calculates multiple solutions to retrieve his phone.

Beads of sweat start todrop from his forehead and suddenly, he feels a unfamiliar  force on his back. 

A pervert?

He shakes his head from side to side, trying to get rid of the obscene situation out of his mind. No matter how beautiful his body was, he was sure there wouldn't be people who would steep that low to abuse his sculpted body.

A soft feminine hand reaches out in front of him from his left side. 

“Ah, here’s your phone! Hopefullyit’s not broken....”

Rei stares at the soft and delicate hand. It was like no hand he has ever seen, flawless like marble. 

“Umm... Hello? Your phone...”

The tall male’s ‘pure’ thoughts are interrupted by the girl’s voice. 

“U-uuhhh, t-th-thank you....” he stutters and a slight pink blush covers his cheeks.

“You’re welcome! Be careful not to drop it again~” the cute voice chimed.

“You’re finally here!” exclaims the muscle-hungry Kou. 

It was a fine day for a delicious buffet of chiseled muscles, she could have an endless feast of triceps, biceps, deltoids and her favourite; Mr. Gluteus Maximus~

“Sorry, I’m late. It was difficult to get on the trains, it was extremely crowded.”

“It’s fine~~ The other’s are getting changed, why don’t you join them?” 

Rei gives a quick nod and heads towards the male change rooms. 

As the megane male smooths out the non-existent creases of his long black and blue swimsuit, his mind rewinds to the recent event on the train.

His adam’s apple bobs up and down as he continues to swallow his saliva.

Damn. 

His salivary glands were over-producing the liquid due his strange but wonderful attraction to the soft and warm hand he touched. 

He could still feel the warmth radiating from the small and elegant hand. 

It was not like him to be indecisive, so why was this basic body part seducing his ‘pure and innocent’ mind. He was reluctant to turn back however, there was a ever growing part of him telling him to turn back to the girl.

“Iwatobi Recreation Centre. Please be careful as you leave and enter. Thank you for riding with us!” the announcement brought him out of the mental war.  

He decided to take a leap of faith.

“T-Thank you for earlier! My name is R-Ryugazaki Rei!” he yells in at a slighter high pitch than normal.

A sing-song voice reached his pink ears from a crowd of heads.

“You’re welcome! I’m [_l/n_] [_f/n_]!”

It was just a hand. 

What was so special anyway?

Soon, he would realise...

He was dead wrong.
