Petra's head was about to explode. What just happened was unbelievable. Her mother just died and SHE WAS A SUSPECT! She needed something to drink so she went to the bar.
As she was getting to the bar she bumped into someone who was on the phone and she broke her heel.
"WATCH WHERE YOU'RE GOING BITCH!" Petra screamed
"Hey maybe you should watch your mouth" a calm but strong voice said
Petra looked up and she saw a pair of big brown eyes looking at her. They looked like they could kill.
"Excuse me? It was obviously your fault!" Petra said
The woman with big brown eyes just ignored her and walked into the elevator.
Petra was shocked. How could someone ignore her like that! She definitely needed a drink.
"Hi Miss Petra, what can I get you?"
"Just give me something strong. Quickly! I don't have all day!"
"O-of course just a second"
As the bartender went to get her a drink her phone ringed.
"Ughhh what is it Krishna?"
"Y-your lawyer just arrived"
Great now she would have to talk to a fucking lawyer. She just wanted a drink!
"I'll be there in a few minutes"
"But..."
And Petra hung up. She was really tired and she was going to have that drink.
The bartender brought her something with vodka. She didn't really knew what it was but it was strong. Just what she needed.
When she finished her drink Petra was a little tipsy, it was strong indeed.
She got to her office and someone was sitting there, no, not just someone. It was the women that she bumped with before.
"What are you doing here?"
The woman turned around and gave her a knowing smirk.
"So you must be Petra"
"That doesn't respond to my question"
"You have to learn to be more patient. I'm Jane Ramos, your new lawyer" she smirked
"You?" Petra laughed
"Yes....me. And believe me, I'm the best at my job"
"Well...that's for you to show and for me to say"
"Oh you will say it" Jane said giving Petra an intense look
Petra didn't know if it was the alcohol (probably) but she was hypnotized. They stayed like that a few seconds and then Petra broke the spell.
