Tuesday- My P.O.V

"I'm gonna love yah... Until you hate me...Now I'm gonna show ya what's really crazy.." I trailed off and started to hum the rest of black widow. My hair this morning was different to deal with. I straightened the top portion because that's all I had at this point. I put what I knew was my blue and black beaded necklace as a crown over my fringe. I looked in the mirror and liked how I looked. I put some liner on my water lines and stared at my eyes. The once vibrant blue was now a market grey in my eyes. I grabbed my cell from my back pocket and called Barbie over.

"Hey hey hey" she looked at me and smiled. "I think I like you better color blind. Your style got better" I grilled her.

"No one can know that I'm color blind. They will then baby me and all this other stuff." I cringed. I hated being babied; I felt helpless.

"I won't but what about that gauze in the back of your head. People will notice that." She had a point.

"DAD!!!!" he ran into the room like I was getting murdered with a bat. I looked down at the bat and the memory flashed again. I shook it off. "Can I take off the gauze?" He relaxed and looked at me.

"Yeah there's only one stitch and it is dissolvable. It should have dissolved when you showered." He peeled the gauze away and Barbie looked at it. There was the stitch on the gauze. She looked at me.

"What is it that bad?" She just smiled. And dug into the bathroom cabinet and pulled out the barber razor. "Why do you have that in your hand?"

"Shut up and turn around" I did as I was told. I felt her engrave something into the back of my head. My dad cocked his head to the side and put a half smile.

"Not bad Barbie" he said examining the engraving.

"Thank you. I try" she brushed imaginary dust off her shoulder

"Can I see??" She took a picture and showed me the infinity cross she engraved into my shaved portion of my head. It was small but it took the attention away from my scar that she incorporated into the infinity cross. "Me likey."

We all laughed and said our goodbyes. We hopped in Barbie's hot pink jeep. Are you starting to understand why we call her Barbie? Black widow blasted as we drove the quick 5minute drive to school. We could have walked but bitch we ride in style. When we got to the school. Barbie automatically changed from her vans to her black pumps. She had on a black pencil skirt with a crop top and cardigan. As usual. She literally looked like a Barbie doll commercial. I walked over to her side and opened the door. She jumped down and adjusted her skirt. She quickly put on a quick layer of hot pink lipgloss and teased her hair. We locked arms and walked. Barbie was always an inch taller than me. But I for one am pretty effing tiny. My thin frame doesn't help me when it comes to keeping men away. I've even attracted straight men. Besides the point. I ran up to Kat and hugged the shit out of him when we reached our lockers. Luna looked at me and spoke up.

"Hey are you okay I heard what.." I cut him off.

"We do not speak of it. DO YOU UNDERSTAND. It happened. It happened. I don't need a reminder. Can we get back to how things were?" He pouted like a sad puppy bowing his head knowing what he said was wrong. He whispered a faint 'sorry'. I just hugged him and we all went to class. Kat now on my arm.

"So my little merbitch. I hear there's a new boy. Maybe you should do your whole innocent act to get him to join the group. I'm pretty sure he would love it." he nudged my side with his point elbow. I laughed and thought about it. That whole innocent act was my body shutting down with nerves but I've done it a few times to get what I want. I was brought out of my thinking process by a harsh bump and I hit the floor hard with my bum.
