Mei joined me at my position as I looked around , it was dead silent. " where is the other sniper at ?"I questioned. "They were lasted spotted there but I'm unaware of there location now"she said looking around. " we need to go" I said grabbing our stuff. " snipers equals high ground and there's too much here" I said looking around.As we started to take off I spotted them, "Shit !" I grabbed mei and pulled her down with me sending us rolling. The bullet barely missed us as another shot rang out. " are you okay ?" She asked me ,looking at myself I nodded "i-I'm fine " I said. "That was way too close we need to hurry" I said pulling her up with me.We ran to cover in a old building. "(Y/N) thank you for saving me I owe you" she said . "Oh mei don't worry about it alright...I think we can stay here until we know for sure the snipers dead " I say sitting down holding my gun.She nods sitting besides me, I lay my head back and close my eyes.Slow as time passed I drifted into sleep having mei resting right next to me kept me warm but somehow I felt cold ...ice cold .It was peaceful....quite I didn't hear anything but then I woke up to being lightly shaken rapidly. "Huh ?" I slowly opened my eyes to see mccrees worried expression. " oh doll I'm glad your okay...I was worried about ya" he said in relief.It was nighttime and I was in the infirmary. "What happened ?"I sat up and felt a slight pain in my stomach.wincing at it I grabbed at the wound.so... I was hit?... " you were shot , mercy said that mei was there freezing the wound so that you'd be okay until we got you too the infirmary..." he looked at me and his eyes saddened. "I'm sorry I was t there to protect you sooner doll ....I shouldnt have left your side at all , this wouldn't have happened if I" I hugged him cutting him off. "I did what I did for a reason, don't blame yourself for my actions" He held me lightly.He raised my face too his and kissed me,I kissed back. "So it wasn't a dream ?" I mumbled. "It never was a dream" he said smiling.
