"You'll be okay. You'll be fine." That was all I could convey . Holding a fragile female human in my arms, it triggered too many emotions. Panic, Sorrow, Regret? Regret.I shouldn't have done it, but someone had to. By doing this, I'd put my pack in danger, comforting a human in her final moments of life. The police would be here at any given moment, and I'd be caught, holding a dead woman in my arms on the street. Still, It seemed like the right thing to do at the time. I stopped most of her minor bleeding, but she was shaken, terrified. I'd often feel her grapple onto my shirt to sit up, but every attempt was unsuccessful, and made her wince even more.
"Please don't let me die.." gasping for breath, she managed to deliver those words to me. I glanced down at her, observing her pale flushed temples and chocolate brown pupils that seemed.. faded.
"Please.." She continued pleading to me as it began to drizzle slightly outside the club.
"Keep fighting." I placed my thumb on her cheek and skimmed it subtly. "Who shot you?.."
"W-We were talking, then.. he pulled out a gun and shot me. I don't even know what I did to deserve this!" She panicked. "I have kids! Please!"
I was taught to never have sympathy for humans. That their kind was always a threat to ours, and that we should never be associated with them. However, seeing this woman bleeding out, and pleading for me to save her, made my heart softer and increased me wanting to help, But, I couldn't.
It was too dangerous. Not only for me but her as well. All I could really do was hold her until her soul drained, and assure her that she was going to be fine.
Her eyelids began to flutter as she whispered something to me "Tell.. my kids that I.. love.."
The body that was once tense, and fragile in my arms relaxed completely and became slighty heavy. Her eyes finally closed as the sound of police sirens came closer to the scene.
I laid her body beside the nearest car, and removed my jacket to lay upon her body. Her face had no emotion, but I knew she was free, finally free from the pain she'd endured fifteen minutes ago, and I was happy I'd assisted her.
I quickly changed forms, my bones cracking as my human body retook the shape of my wolf, as my fur grew in seconds.
The police car tires skidded to a hault as I jolted behind the club and into the woods.
"What the hell was that?" I heard one of the officers exclaim flashing a light into the woods where I had went.
"Some dog. Focus on what the hell is in front of you, rook" another responded.
I observed from behind a tree to watch one officer examine her body, and some enter the shot up club placing numbers on the ground by bullets.
Lowering my head, I paid my respects. Since I couldn't save her, I figured I'd track her family down and fulfil her request. She wanted me to tell her kids that she loved them, and I was going to do just that.

Where the hell is Sebastien?"
Damn Sebastien, always running off to observe things that are none of his business.
