Now sitting inside a small japanese restaurant to which he insisted of taking her for lunch, both did not have a guts to speak. He would take small glances to the girl in front to see if she is feeling a lot better now.

Misplacing her camera, missing her train home, nearly getting herself killed and now heavy rain started dripping to the ground. Making the once bright afternoon darkens.

She sighed in frustration and irritation. Could this day gets any more worse?

"I'm Hoseok, by the way." He made a courage to speak up, holding out his hand for a handshake. She looks at him blankly, her smile nowhere to be found. Her face now wears a tiring emotions.

He doesn't like it. He likes it when she smiles. When her gums appearing a little.

She was about to reply when her phone rings. She turns her vision to the lit up screen. Showing the name she's been worried about.

Incoming call...
Mum

She hesitantly reached for her phone, swiping to answer it.

"Hello." She nervously answered.

"Where in the world are you? Why are you not in your room? Where are you?!?"

She slightly take her phone away from her ear. Her mother's furious voice echoing on the other line.

"I'm fine, Mum. I just went somewhere. I'll be home quickly." She tiringly replied as she unconsciously played with the table tracing unknown shapes.

He watch her flinches a little while she talks to her mother.

"You very much know that you can't just roam around anywhere by yourself. Go home this instant."

"Mum, I know I'm sick but I can still function properly. I can manage myself." She said a little annoyed showing in her voice and expression.

Sick? She's sick? He thought.

Sighing deeply and leaning her forehead on her hand to calm herself down. She raised her head. Her eyes slowly glistening with water.

She managed to have an eye contact to the guy infront of her. She suddenly felt ashamed and frustrated on what was happening.

"Go home right this second, young lady. I'll talk to you when you get back-"

She ended the call.

She look at the guy again. Feeling sorry he had to witness something like that from a total stranger.

"I'm sorry about that." She quietly utters, head bowing down.

"Don't be. That's normal." He replied, still looking at the girl with soft eyes.

Silence...

It went quite for a good minute between them.

His curiousity fills him in. He wants to know why she's sick. He wants to know what's happening to her. But he just couldn't ask her that as well as those photographs he's seen.

"Are you free today?" She asked. The pouring rain now stops. The sun slowly raising again.

She felt relief.

He raised both his eyebrows in sudden.

"I am." He replies, smiling at her.

The tips of her mouth slightly being pulled up.

"Can you be my travel buddy for today?" She asked, smiling with hope in her eyes.

He couldn't help but smile along with her. There's the smile he likes.

He nodded heartly.

"I'd love too."

No matter how curious he was to ask questions, he put those thoughts aside and just decided to spend time with her.

Strangely, without him realising, the phone call he was waiting earlier never cross his mind again, his girlfriend never once cross his mind when this girl in front of him showed up again.
