☁️Tempura x Shy! Reader

  It's been a while since you summoned a new food soul, ever since fallen angel attacks had risen, your restaurant had been busy, since it was very conveniently close to the town. Although, you were recognized with honor for establishing a noteworthy team and a strong bond with each of your foodsouls, you were a very shy and secluded person. You cherished alone time but you always felt that you'd rather be doing something else with someone.

   One afternoon, you gathered enough embers to summon a new soul, as excited as you were, you were nervous to meet another powerful being. You quickly swallowed your doubt and started the summoning process. Soon, a bright flash of light occurred and you were greeted with a tall, masculine figure. "Ha! I am Tempura. Haven't you heard of me? Whatever happens in the future, I will be by your side ready with my firepower!" His voice thundered with excitement. You looked up at Tempura now that you weren't blinded. He had an amazing figure with long fluffy hair and glistening abs. Your face heated up at what you just thought of it 'GAH What am I thinking?!' you scolded yourself.

   You were a bit flustered but you forced a smile and nodded. He bent down and looked at you, his eyes staring into yours. Your face reddened even more, "Are you alright Master Attendant?" He questioned and reached a hand out to put on your forehead, but before he could you let out a startled squeak before stumbling backwards, you braced for impact but you didn't come in contact with the ground; instead you felt warmth against you. "Master Attendant are you sure you're fine?" He asked with concern present in his voice. You stared for a moment before responding, "I'm sure no need to worry, Tempura." You felt safe in his arms as he held you bridal style. He smiled before his eyes widened, "WOAH SO YOU CAN TALK!" he exclaimed loudly. You giggled and nodded.

   Ever since the first time you two met, you two have grown close. His smile was warm and always friendly, and he would protect you from even the most awkward or dangerous situations. You two eventually fell in love with each other but were too shy or embarrassed to confess.

"Come on you have to do it!" Miso encouraged with a smirk on his face.

"I doubt that he ever will." Suki Yaki said while looking into a mirror.

"I believe in him and if they decline, he's all mine~" Spicy Glutton stated seductively while pressing herself onto Tempura.

   Tempura ignored her and walked away. He sat outside and saw you napping on the porch while it lightly rained. The sun started to set and the warm summer wind made your (h/l) flow. Tempura carried you inside but halted in his tracks when he heard a groggy soft voice say a small "Thank you." He looked down at you and smiled while your half lidded eyes started to slowly close. He was about to lay you down onto your bed into your room until you stopped him. He held you closer as you sat up and kissed his cheek. You whispered a small "I love you!" You smiled as a light blush dusted your face. His eyes widen before you pulled him into a soft, gentle kiss. Once you pulled away, he smiled and held you into a closer embrace "I love you too (y/n)." He finally laid you down and you motioned for him to lay beside you. He did so and you cuddled up to him against his chest and fell asleep, knowing that he will keep you safe.

"I TOLD YOU!" Cried Miso happily, after Tempura announced what happened.

"Damn it all..." Spicy Glutton and Suki Yaki sulked while handing over Miso  their money
