"I'm telling you, Ezra! It's only a matter of time!" My friend Gau shouted, "How can you be as narrow minded as to believe we are the only ones out there? We've upset the universe, and now we'll all die!"
I huffed, having just run a quarter mile. I'm not a skinny kid, and I felt like passing out. Gym class. Wonderful. "Gau, if the aliens are upset, then why aren't we dead yet?"
"I have a theory about that, too..."
He whipped out a yellow paper pad, flicking through to find his 'theory'.Coach Niro jogged over in our direction. The first thing everyone notices about the coach is his hair. Or rather, his 'hair'. His hairline is messed up, and he wears some weird toupee (to-pay). Then comes the fashion style.
He's always got some strange new jacket. Once, he came in with a bright blue sweatshirt, covered in clearly self-painted suns.
But neither of those things caught my eyes first. Sure, they were both still there, but when somebody has a face the color of a tomato, you don't tend to stick around long enough to see the now small details.
"Run." I said to Gau, a hint of urgency dripping off my tongue. "Run. Don't look back, and maybe he will think we didn't notice him."
The sound of Niro's protests were lost behind us as we sprinted through the forest, circling around behind the bleachers. I fell to the ground, exhausted.
"Please tell me you had a good reason for running from the coach?" I shrugged, simply not wanting to get in trouble just then. "You do realize that we'll have to see him again Wednesday, and we'll be in even bigger trouble for running away, right?"
Crap. This day was off to a great start.

Hi! I'm back. Sorry about the short episode, and for including an authors note. I'm trying to make some changes to my original plot plans, and I'm not feeling great. I'll be back soon, with longer episodes. Bye for now.
