Leaving Thunder For Sun

Chapter One

Ashpaws P.O.V.

"Ashpaw!" Yelled Bramblestar "Bramblestar?!" asked Ashpaw in shock. "What are you doing out here?! You're way to far off the territory, What if a twoleg came out and took you starclan knows where..." I stopped listening and glanced to where Freckle was hiding. Then Bramblestar, my father said, "I smell another cat... A kittypet!" He hissed more to himself than me. "R-really? I don't smell anything you just must be tired." "No I smell Kittypet sent and its fresh." I couldn't hold it back anymore and yowled, "Run Freckle!" Bramblestar looked over at me for a brief second and looked at the sound of paws on the ground. He ran at her with such speed that he caught her within heartbeats "You, I saw you hunting  in my territory earlier! Prey Stealer!" He slashed at her stomach and then I saw blood welling up at the deep wound and I blacked out...

Freckles P.O.V.

"Oww!" I yowled "Stop please, Help!" I kept screeching  until my lungs felt like they were going to burst. "I won't stop till your shredded! No one takes prey from my clan especially in leaf-bare!" The tom hissed. "I-I'm sorry! I'll give it back I didn't eat a whisker of it I promise." Then the tom let me up when he saw Ashfur laying on the ground he ran over to her and dragged her into the forest. Once they were out of sight I bolted to my Twolegs den. "Let me in! I'm here!" I yowled to my Twolegs, a few heartbeats later My Twolegs kit let me in. "Mom Freckles bleeding!" Yelled the Twoleg kit. My twoleg rushed over to me and examined my wounds. "My friends uhh... well I think he's her kin did it to me!" I mewed. "Shh it's okay Freckle well fix you up." Said my Twoleg.

Ashpaws P.O.V

"Hey Ashpaw! Are you awake?" Said a familiar voice. I opened my eyes to slits and saw Shadowpaw "Hi." I said weakly."I brought you a mouse, I just caught it." Said Shadowpaw warmly. "Thanks." I started to eat slowly and almost choked when I remembered why I was in Jayfeathers den, I spit out the rest of the mouse and gasped "Freckle!" "What? What's Freckle?"asked Shadowpaw confused I didn't answer him because I bolted to the highstone and scrambled up to my father's den.

"Where's Freckle?!"I asked in a angry tone. "I took care of her, she won't be stealing prey again." he said as if nothing happened "She never stole prey! I was teaching her how to hunt and she only caught a scrawny mouse."

"You were teaching a Kittypet how to hunt?" asked Bramblestar with more amusement than anger in his tone. " Yes I did and its not funny! I'll show you someday that kittypets are the same as us." I promised. "Ashpaw get back here you need some herbs." Jayfeather yowled. I reluctantly went to the medicine cats den and lapped up the foul tasting herbs.

Freckles P.O.V.

I padded down the river bank going nowhere specific, and then I was jumped on by a grey cat that smelled like fish, "Who are you?" He said. "Freckle, Who are you?" I mewed "I'm Pebblepaw and my patrol is coming so you better go and fast, met me here at moonhigh." And I saw Pebblepaw dissapear through the reeds. I ran to the Thunderclan border where me and Ashpaw always meet. "Ashpaw?" I meowed when I heard leaves rustle a few tail lengths away. But it wasn't Ashpaw, "Why are you in our territory, Kittypet?" sneered a tom." I'm not in your territory, I haven't crossed the border." I said smugly...
