Hi there!
Just so everyone knows, I just added in a scene to fill in some plot holes, so there has been some changes added to this chapter ;)

"Wait, so the map doesn't just show students and teachers?" asked James in disbelief as he leaned over the table, examining the map. Teddy had wanted to show it during breakfast, but ended up feeling too conspicuous and ended up showing it to James during study hall. Since it was the first day, the hall was not as quiet with usual, which gave them an advantage.
"Guess so," Teddy confirmed. "One minute he was right here-" he pointed to the spot. "And the next he disappeared."
"You reckon it's broken?"
"Maybe," Teddy replied doubtfully. "But I think your dad would've noticed if it was."
"Maybe Greyback's a ghost!" James said excitedly. "Then he could go through walls and pop out the the other side, you know?"
Teddy shook his head, pointing to Nearly Headless Nick, who was talking to Hugo a few tables down. "Can't be-Nick's not on the map either."
"Oh." James turned the paper as if to confirm this before slumping dejectedly. "I dunno, then. Maybe it's broken-if your dad and my grandpa made it, then it must be super old."
Teddy stared at the map, lost in thought. He knew James hadn't made the connection between the intruder on the train and the map, but it still felt irritating that even a Potter kid couldn't understand what he was thinking. "Yeah, must be," he muttered slowly before looking back at James. "You know who Greyback is?"
Jame's forehead pinched together before he shook his head. "Nah, I think I heard of him once, but that's it. Rose might, though-she can't stand not knowing something."
"So if I ask and she doesn't know, she'll still find out anyway," Teddy finished, grinning. "Brilliant. You mind asking her for me?"
"No problem."
Teddy was about to thank him when he suddenly realized something. "Wait a minute-if we tell her that, she'll have to know about the map too."
"Are you kidding?" James exclaimed, horror written across his face. "If she got ahold of this, she'd tell McGonagall and we'd be expelled like that." He snapped his fingers to demonstrate.
Teddy felt his heartbeat quicken involuntarily at the thought. "So? If we don't do this, who knows what'll happen."
"We don't know what will happen either way," James pressed. "Besides, Dad told you to keep it a secret, right? So not only would you be in trouble with him, but he'd probably be in trouble with the school for giving it to you in the first place."
James was looking at him earnestly, but Teddy just rubbed his head in an exhausted way, thinking it over. He knew telling McGonagall was the right thing to do, but Harry had also entrusted him with a secret. That didn't happen often, and the last thing Teddy wanted to do was break his trust.
Finally he replied, "Just...let me think it over, kay? If I do turn it in, you'll have nothing to do with it, I promise."
"What about Rose?" He shot back, eyeing him suspiciously. "Are you going to tell her?"
"No," he replied evenly, and idea forming in his head as he stood up. "I'll get answers another way."

Twenty minutes later he was walking back from the library, keeping a fast pace since he didn't have a whole lot of time left before his next class. There were only two copies of the revised Hogwarts, a History, but thankfully Teddy had snagged the last one before anyone else could take it. Usually he wasn't a huge fan of textbooks, but he couldn't help feeling a bit excited for this one since it included information about the Battle of Hogwarts.
Unfortunately, as he began reading it in Slughorn's class his excitement slowly waned away. The book had taken away anything remotely interesting about the battle, such as who lived and who died, and only included main fighters. Honestly, Teddy had heard more from Harry than he had from this book.
Disappointed, Teddy turned to his other book on convicted dangerous wizards. Madam Pince had given him a suspicious look when he checked this one out, but there really was nothing for her to suspect. At least, he was pretty sure.
As Slughorn droned on about some cure for broken bones, he flipped through the pages anxiously, searching in the G section. Garrison, Golldrum....there. He could hardly believe it. Right in front of his eyes: FENRIR GREYBACK. A moving picture of a snarling, heavily scarred man looked back at him, with greasy hair and dirty clothes. Chills ran up his arms at the sinister, mad look the man had.
   And underneath, a description:
Crimes:
- association with Death Eaters
- 1st degree murder
- Cruciatus Curse
- Harassing, maiming, and biting muggles and fellow wizards and muggles.
Case: Closed, deceased at the Battle of Hogwarts.
Special abilities: werewolf.
