Chapter Seventeen

*Brandy's point of view.*

Cyndy and I were at a dance hall a few blocks from our appartment, practicing for Avenged Sevenfold's first tour of the year and their first tour without Jimmy. The 'Welcome to the Family' tour. I finally got Cyndy to agree to go and we told Matt that next day he asked. Today was the last practice day until we left, which was just two days away. We had been practing for over a month. Matt told us the wrong time we were leaving. He told us they day they were annoucning it.

"One more time?" I asked Cyndy after the song went off.

She nodded her head.

I went to go turn the music on, but someone came in the studio. It was Matt. He had the band with him.

It was the first time we had seen Syn and Zacky since the funeral.

"What brings you here?" I asked Matt, keeping my cool.

Matt smirked, "I thought'd we check it out, see how its coming along."

I looked at Cyndy and she couldnt take her eyes off Syn. He couldnt take his eyes off her either. I looked at Zacky and he was looking at me, but quickly looked at the floor when I saw him.

"Um sure." I siad walking up to Cyndy, taking my place on her right side, "Hit the play button please."

Zacky walked over and pushed play.

A scream came from the speakers, then guitars and drums.

'Caught up in this madness to blind to see. Woke animal feelings in me. Took over my sence and I lost control. I'll taste your blood to night.' The vocal came in.

I had my eyes closed and listened to the lyrics as I moved along to the beat. I couldnt stop thinking about Zacky. I couldnt and it upset me, knowing he was right in front of me and I had tears streaming down my face. I felt them.

"Wow, that was good." Matt said clapping as we finished and the song ended, "You do know, you'll have to add us in it thought right?"

My heart pounded with nervesness.

"Yea." I said shaking it off.

Zacky and Syn looked at each other, then Matt. Johnny had a smirk on his face.

"Do you wanna see the other song?" Cyndy asked.

I looked at her.

Matt nodded his head, "Yea. Tomrrow, come over to our pratice place. We'll put it together in a live set."

I nodded my head, "Okay, we'll show you Beast and The Harlot after we take a break real fast."

"Im gunna go some then." Matt said as he went outside.

Johnny followed him.

I walked over to my backpack and sat down, drinking a bottle of water. I watched as Syn and Zacky started talking to each other. I couldnt read their lips, but Zacky started walking over toward me.

"What?" I asked him.

He sat beside me, "I told Meghan."

My eyes got wide. I was shocked.

"Why?" I asked.

He looked me in the eye, "felt I had to. Specially since I've developed feelings for you."

"Feelings." I said shocked.

He nodded his head.

I stood up and shook my head, "I can't Zacky. Go get Matt."

Zacky did as I said and went to get Matt.

I looked over where Cyndy was at and she was gone as well as Syn.

Great now I had to find her.

*Cyndys point of view.*

As soon as Zacky went to talk to Brandy, Syn looked at me. I panicked and ran out of the studio.

I went down the hall and turned the corner. I looked behind it and Syn just came out the door.

"Cyndy." He called for me.

I hide behind the wall again and took a deep breath. I didn't know what to do. I knew he wanted to talk to me, but I just couldn't.

I herd foot steps coming, getting closer and closer.

"Cyndy." Syn said turning the corner.

I was getting a drink from the water fountain and looked at Syn with a smile.

"Yes?" I asked him.

He shook his head, "why did you run from me?"

I laughed, "I didn't. I herd break then went to get some water."

He rolled his eyes, "I just wanted to tell you, I'm excited you guys are going with us."

"Really?" I asked.

He nodded his head with a smile.

I smiled back at him.

We stood there in silence. He was looking down at me. At my lips. He started to lean down to kiss me, but he stopped inches from my face and rested his forehead on mine. He started to say something, but Matt called for us.

"Come on, let's show you this last song." I said grabbing his arm and running back to the studio.
