First time seeing your baby

Paul: after nine long months you finally delivered a healthy baby girl. She had your nose and hair color. She had Paul's mouth and eye color. She was perfect. When the nurse handed her to you, you knew that you were officially a mother and that you wanted to do anything it took to keep her safe. Paul leaned over and said "she's beautiful, just like you." You smiled and started to cry because you were overwhelmed with excitement and happiness. Paul then removed her from your arms and kissed her forehead. "I couldn't be happier sitting here with my two favorite girls in the world." After Paul said those words your baby girl reached out and grabbed Paul's finger. You could see he was starting to tear up. You smiled and said "she's just like her mommy, she loves to hold hands!" Paul winked at you and said, "I can't wait to watch her grow up!" 👶

Danny: he held your hand as the nurse went to examine your baby boy. You two were excited to see him, yet nervous because he was premature. When the nurse returned she said "he's a fighter, many things could have been wrong but he pulled through and he is healthy." "Yay!" You said as you whipped the tears from your eyes and Danny kissed your cheek. He was in a blue blanket with a white hat on his head. Danny pulled off the hat to reveal his brown curls at the bottom of his head. The little boy opened his eyes and smiled. He also had Danny's blue eyes. The baby boy was beautiful and looked just like Danny. Danny tapped the baby's nose and said "you're strong, young one." You two laughed and began to talk to your new baby. It was a happy yet stressful day, for all of you 🍼
