May's jaw practically dropped when the couple approached the beautiful hotel. Huge, lush palm trees in clusters sprouted all around the entrance and flowed in the breeze.
"Oh Elvis... it's beautiful!" May exclaimed.

Elvis, too, was impressed and couldn't wipe the smile off his face at the scenery.
The hotel was nice, too. He thought to himself, staring at May so much she could feel his eyes on her.

As they walked through the doors with their bags, they were presented with Hawaiian leis to wear. The people seemed to be high from the sunshine, because everywhere they went everyone greeted:
"Aloha!" With a smile bigger than the last.

Elvis, room key in hand, was as eager as a little boy to get to the room.

As soon as Elvis opened the door, May knew this week was going to be heaven. She rushed past her boyfriend into the room before he could even take a step. Ignoring Elvis’ whine (‘hey!’), she turned to face all directions; the bright walls, the intricate decorations, the dark wood floor, the carpet, everything!
“Elvis - this is amazing!” May laughed in astonishment, striding to Elvis to plaster a kiss on his lips.

When May pulled away, Elvis simply tugged her back - not wanting the moment to end so soon. He kissed her for what felt like the length of the plane journey, ignoring the open door behind them.

However what could have been a tender moment was suddenly shattered by a hotel staff member - a room service boy who knocked upon the doorframe, interrupting the kiss.
"Here." The boy handed Elvis a door sign which read (in English and Hawiian): 'Do not disturb.' As he gave Elvis a knowing look, before adding:
"I'll leave you and your wife alone, sir."

May and Elvis just giggled, and May strolled further into the room to look around. She had such a fondness towards attention to detail as well as fine architecture.
"Isn't this beautiful!?" May asked, delirious with joy.

Elvis glared at May's beautiful figure in her dress, unable to say one word.
"Elvis?" May repeated.
"What? Oh - oh yeah the room, it-its real nice, honey." Was Elvis' default answer as he shut the door behind him; but not before putting the sign on the knob.
