"Okay if you say so. If you were wondering you got a package in the mail, I put it on the counter for you."

I nodded and made my way over to the counter. I took it and walked into my room. When I got in there I began opening the package. It had a box with a note taped on the top.

Merry Christmas! I know it's probably late, but you know that's okay, as long as you get the gift. I love you and I hope you have a good Christmas. Now stop reading and open the box!

I put down the note and began tearing off the packaging to find a small box. I opened it, seeing a custom made necklace, with the word 'kropp' engraved on it. I smiled. I took it out of the box and put it on.

I took it off and walked back out of the room to go and take a shower as I had things to do and places to be. Once I finished I got dressed, wearing black leggings and a Band Tee. I walked into the living room to grab my shoes.

"Where are you going? You know all stores are closed on Christmas right?" My dad asked as I pulled my hair up into a ponytail and grabbed my coat and car keys.

"Yeah Yeah, I know. I'm going to visit a friend of mine." I said as I made my way outside and got in my car turning on and waiting a bit before backing out and driving over to a friend's house. One that I hadn't seen since middle school, but still contacted each other until he had texted me the night before saying he had just moved to LA. 

I pulled out my aux cord and plugged it in and started my playlist. The first song was Dying In a Hot Tub. I began to sing along as I drove. 

In half a hour i arrived at the address given to me and got out knocking on the door. A unfamiliar face greeted me, and it definitely wasn't him as the person that opened the door was a girl. 

"Uh... Hi? I'm looking for a Chris." 

"Chris Bang? Uh yeah he's here. Are you Elizabeth?" she asked. 

"Yeah." 

"Come on in." She said motioning me inside. 

When I walked in I saw Chris, he had barely changed since middle school, looking almost the same as I had seen him last. 

"Elisabeth! It's been so long!" He said hugging me as we both sat down on the couch. 

"How have you been? I haven't seen you in so long." 

"I've been good, I've been working hard since I got out of school with YouTube and other things like that. So I've been doing good since the last time we've seen each other. And by the way who is she?" I asked pointing to the girl that let me in. 

"Oh her? That's my sister. I'm staying with her until I can get a place of my own." 

"Oh yeaaaaah I remember now." 

"So what about you? Why'd you decide to move here?" I asked. 

"I needed a job." 

"Makes sense." 

At that moment I got a phone call, I answered the moment I saw who it was. 

"Remi? What's up?"

"I wanted to ask you a question."

"Uh sure."

I got up and walked out of the room to a quiet place where no one could hear our conversation.
