Unordinary but on way to much soda

Chapter 2

John opened his eyes, he was in his bed, and for the life of him he couldn't figure out how the hell he got there. It was pitch black, "must be night... better check the time."
It was about 12:00 at night
"Holy crap! I slept for that long? And it was about 7 in the morning when I fell asle- wait a sec..."
Sera was laying on the couch in the living room, she had just tucked herself in when John came bursting into the room. "HOLY SHIT I MISSED SCHOOL I AM SO DEAD."
John was panicking and sweating and about to faint when Sera walked up to him and slapped him in the face, "it is 12 in the morning... GO BACK TO SLEEP." Sera quite literally carried a shocked and very shook John all the way to his room upstairs, tucked him in, walked back downstairs and collapsed on the couch.

At about 5 in the morning Sera was woken by the loudest shout of all time, "I swear to god John..."

Sera burst into John's room, "what in the name of god has you scr-... John?" John was clenching his head, shaking on the ground, "I THINK... SOMETHING WAS IN THAT SODA, IT'S TAKING OVER MY MIND OR SOMETHING, I KEEP HEARING VOICES AND SHIT." Sera rushed to his side, "umm, see this is why I told you not to drink that stuff!" John groaned, "now is not the TIME FOR JOKES SERA." John clenched his head again, rolling over, screaming in pain. Sera tried to help, doing anything she could, ice packs, soothing words, literally anything. She started tearing up, "c-come on John, stay with me here." John looked up at Sera, "h-hey, don't cry, it's not like I'm going to go out cold, join up with EMBER, and try to take down the school am I?" Sera gave a small snicker, before John suddenly went out cold. Sera's eyes widened, she stumbled over to her phone and quickly dialed up Elaine. "COME QUICK, JOHN'S OUT COLD AND I HAVE NO IDEA WHY." Elaine groaned, "are you kidding me? you know what. Fine, but you owe me..." 

Elaine arrived thirty minutes later, "alright Seraphina, where is Cripple." Sera shakily pointed to John, whom she had laid down on the sofa. Elaine walked over to him, "hmm, there doesn't seem to be anything wrong... This is strange, he's perfectly fine." Sera grabbed Elaine by the shoulders, "then why the hell... IS HE OUT COLD?" Elaine shrugged, starting to panic, "I-I don't know! this is far beyond my ability!" Sera sighed, "ok... you go, I'll stay and help him, go tell the others I won't be coming to school for the next couple days." Elaine frowned, "O-Ok..." Sera sat down next to John, caring for him the rest of the day. It all seemed to be going so well...

Sera placed more ice on John's head, attempting to provide anything that could help with John's condition. She placed a hand on his head, "please wake up..." She walked upstairs, hoping to find some extra ice. Only to hear a crash downstairs, "hmm?" She rushed back downstairs to find John standing up. "John!" John looked at his hands, before turning back to Sera, revealing his completely white eyes. Sera placed her hands over her mouth, "J-John? a-are you ok?" John turned away, before Sera heard something like a speaker. "hello? is this thing on? *ahem*, well, hello there, I am Doctor Hal of the organization you know as EMBER." Sera gasped, "you work with ember!? what did you do to John!" Sera heard cackling, "well you see, we have placed Nanobots on the soda he has been drinking..." Sera remembered the soda, and how she saw stuff moving in said soda, "so that's what was moving..." The doctor laughed, "well now you see, your friend here is now under our total control!" Sera clenched her fist, "wait... if you just took control why didn't you just take him away without telling me?" The doctor laughed, "dramatic effect." and with that, John disappeared in flash of green light... leaving Sera shocked, 

"wait... so we got a box of Nanomachine filled soda cans, John got filled with Nanobots, got captured by EMBER, and I just had a conversation with a german scientist... I HAVE SO MANY QUESTIONS"
