Clayton's POV
Beautiful..she's so beautiful. Why does she have to be human? Oh and my best friend. Im totally friend zoned by my own damn mate, beloved whatever you want to call her, won't change the fact that she's mine.
"Where do you go everyday clay?" Audrey asks
"Work"
"Yeah..but like..um what do you do"
"Whats got you so curious this morning?" She never questioned me before about where I actually run off to when I am not spending time with her
"I just think I should know what my best friend does for a living"
"Family business baby" Im not lying
"Oh okay I get it.. I think" I just chuckle.. shes so cute
I cant really tell her that Im a hybrid. Well not yet at least. She isn't of age so my feelings and secret must stay well, a secret. She can only feel the connection a little bit anyways. When she finally turns 18 she will fully feel the bond, and call me selfish, but I want her chances of leaving me when she finds out who I really am to be slim as possible.

"I will Clay." God I hate letting her go. Before she steps out the car I giver her a kiss on the cheek
"Ill pick you up" she answers with a soft okay and heads up towards the large school.
I hate dropping here off at school, it is no secret that my girl is breathtaking. I have to sit here and watch those worthless humans lust after her. Well jokes on them she is mine and Ill get rid of any and every threat in my way.
Audrey POV
As soon as I walk through the doors of school I am basically tackled by my really good friend Rayne.
"Oh my god was that Clayton that just dropped you off?" did i mention she is kinda obsessed with him. I get this really bad emotion whenever she talks about him. Like I just want to strangle her because she even has the audacity to look at him.
"Yes Rayne, that was Clay."
"That man is so beautiful." she has a point there "Im always shocked to find out that he is not sleeping around and is still very very single."
I roll my eyes, no way will I ever let her in breathing distance of Clayton. He's off limits
