18 And In Love

Becca's POV

I can't believe it. Finally 18. No more nagging parents and when I finish school in two months I can finally take my place as alpha of the Blue Moon pack! But most importantly I can finally find my mate. My other half. My soul mate. The one I will protect with all my heart. Well at least I hope it's a her I am gay and if it was a guy it would be gross but oh well. I just want someone to hold in my arms and take care of and love forever.

So anyway tonight is my birthday party nothing special just a couple friends. We are just hanging out at my house now eating pizza and playing video games. My best friends are the only ones I really trust and right now it's just me, Natalie, Alyssa, Hannah, and Shelby. Brenna's still on her way she had some things to take care of I guess.

"Becca when is Brenna gunna be here?" Natalie complains to me.

"I don't know Nat but I hope soon..." I said frowning. Man I really miss my best friends she needs to get here soon I know Nat and the others are here but there's just something about having Brenna around that makes me happy. We just clicked when we first met and have been literally inseparable ever since.

Natalie goes back over to Alyssa and Alyssa smiles and sits on her lap and Natalie wraps her arms around her and smiles back. I know what your thinking but no there not dating they're just like me and Brenna. Extremely close best friends. Except that Natalie is a wolf like me but Brenna and Alyssa arn't and she knows Alyssa's her mate but they are taking it slow and want to be friends before they go any further.

Shelby and Hannah were playing call of duty while I sat here staring at my phone waiting for Bren to show up.

"Knock"
"Knock"

I jump up because my inner wolf was startled but I soon calm down realizing it's just Brenna. I can smell her so I know it's her, but this time she smells better... She smells amazing it has my wolf going crazy she wants me to run down stairs and get Brenna but all I can do is stand there.

Im soon brought out of my thoughts by a txt from Brenna 

Baby Brenna: You gunna let me in? :(

Then I heard Nat yelling my name.

I slowly got out of my trance and walked downstairs. The closer I got to the door my wolf was going crazy. I had no idea what was going on. Why was I so excited to see Brenna? I wanted to hold her and spend time with her. Then I was almost to the door and I could smell her still and suddenly my wolf I guess made the connection and started shouting "MATE" that's when it all clicked. And I froze.

I couldn't think. I couldn't move. What would Brenna think? Could I tell her? Should I wait?

I took a deep breath and opens the door and there she stood. The most beautiful girl in earth. My mate. She was standing there smiling at my then yelled "Happy Birthday babe!!" and wrapped her arms around my neck. I froze for a second then wrapped my arms around her waist. It felt so right standing there holding her in my arms. Once i regained all of my senses I nuzzeled my face into her neck and I took a deep breath. Her smell drove me and my wolf insane. The whole time my wolf was jumping around inside me yelling "mate". When I finally pulled away from her both of us sighed from the lack of contact.

As I stepped back I gave her a kiss on the cheek and said "thank you beautiful" and she blushed.

I turned around and grabbed her hand as i led her into the house.

"Hey Bren can you grab that blanket sitting on the chair?" I asked her as we were headed twords my room.

"Yeah sure. Do you need anything else?" she asked.
