Today you insisted we go the ice cream shop
I smiled and nodded
We ate our ice cream and took a walk
Then you stopped me
I turned around to look at you
I asked you what was wrong
You didn't reply
Instead you walked closer to me
And placed your lips on mine
I was shocked
Then you parted
I stared at you
Blinking furiously
You laughed
And said those three words that I never thought i would hear
"I love you."
