Prompt #1

1) Select a color and personify it. What does it taste like and sound like? How does it move? What does it want and fear? What special powers does it have?

Purple feels like a very royal color to wear like a royal/dark purple dress are very elegant and beautiful. Purple is mysterious , magical , and wondrous looks and vibe to it. When you think of what the color purple tastes like is that its sweet but has a slight kick after of a little sour. When i would hear purple i think like rock but the instrumental only and slightly softer. I feel like purple and blue are in that same category that as long as it's not neon they both can be very soothing colors unlike red. The color purple would want to be taken like more of an older color because most people associate it with little kids or elementary school age kids. Purple also moves in a gas like form and floats around very swirly and elegant.Purple feels like a very spiritual color and that it represents strong calm emotions. I think that purple represents the happy calming color the opposite of how blue is normally known as a sad calming color. It has special powers of healing and just overall having magic. When it was used to represent magical healing like using spells and a mist that envelopes a person and seeps into them and making them restored of any strength lost. If the color purple was a person it would be either like a parent or a small child just depending on the shade dark/royal purple would be a 25 year old princess or wealthy person who has a very calm way of speaking and can command the attention of a room without raising their voice. The lighter shades of purple are childlike and full of innocence and still are calm but also very bubbly. It would fear being alone and would have very heightened anxiety/depression. Purple is also a very prideful color that while it is linked to elegance it is also linked to the evil and unknown. Also if purple would be the person you could go to and they would be your shoulder to cry on, your ear to vent to and a person who you could trust with any secret you need to get off your chest. Purple also sounds like soft quiet sounds , whispering , a soft crunch of leaves on the ground. Another power it has is to be is that it washes over you in waves to calm people down . A person who is mysterious seems like they have a very subtle royal purple hue. Purple is a color you do not really notice until everyone is wearing it or no one is wearing it or everything is purple then nothing is. Like this years color is purple so many things are purple this year so far. I think that the other colors you pair it with tell what you are trying to use weather you are going for the more sophisticated color or the child like color. Weather you pair it with a dark silver it tends to lean more towards the sophisticated elegance side of the shade but if you only wear purple or with subtle pops of other color make it feel like the more childlike side of the shade.
