Static gnawed at the throats of the Daverson family. It was the only communication between them and had been for the last 5 hours of driving. In a frenzied movement, all matter was forced forward. Thud! The brains rolled around in their skulls. It approached.

The gnarl of this being was something of a supernatural fantasy. She let out deaths defying screams as she watched this thing crack open the windscreen and dig through the camper. It connected with her mother's limp carcass. With a gentle scratch, she was torn from her seat, and thrown onto the road ahead of them. Blood began to spill from her face as her eyes were torn out and she saw them drift down its neck. The mother didn't scream, how could she? If wasn't satisfied just yet.

It came back looking for more to who it could cause pain to. Like picking out sweets from a bag, it reached in, this time missing her, but instead, grabbing her younger sister, her 7 year old sister. Tears streamed down their faces as they locked onto each others eyes, there was nothing that she could do to save her sister. She left the camper and was thrown high into the sky, she landed back down on her neck, and with a short ear stunning sound, her neck clicked and she became someone else to line its stomach.

Was this luck? As she was next but it had a different tone towards her. It carefully took her from the camper and eased her outside. She tried to kick and scratch, but she suddenly realised something, she was outnumbered. Another being dragged itself towards the camper and began to feast upon the family that was left. She fell to her knees screaming, but nothing would come out, not even a squeak. A finger pulled at her collar and she was dragged away, blood leaking from scratching herself. She watched as her camper became a dot on the horizon, she was about to have a new life and it was not going to be for the better.
