Jungkook twiddled his thumbs as every student in class filed out. He sat there in sadness holding the test he got back just right before everyone left. He looked at the top of the paper again to see a big 73 out of 100 circled in fine black marker.

How did he manage to fail a test that was so easy? Was it him or was it the teacher? Jungkook thought.

"Whatever," Jungkook muttered under his breath. He crumbled the piece of paper into his hands and threw it into the abyss that was his backpack. He got up and made his way to Kim Taehyung to see what he had to say. As he approached the desk, Taehyung was seen sorting out numerous amounts of papers onto his desk. He tilted his glasses to rebalance them and noticed Jungkook walking to him.

"Ahh, Jungkook. Sit down right there won't you?" He pointed to the desk that was placed right in front of his larger teacher's desk. Jungkook listened, sat down but was surprised. His voice had a chill tone to it.

"I guess I always caught him in a bad mood." Jungkook thought.

Taehyung loosened his tie and sat himself on top of the big wooden table that was in front of the chalkboard. They chatted for a bit about where they were from, and things like what their parents' occupations were. Jungkook had totally forgotten that he stayed after class because he was IN trouble; he wasn't here to talk about his day.

That's when Taehyung lowered his head and his tone got dark. "You know why you're in here right?"

"I-I arrived late?" Jungkook stammered. His heart was racing. Not out of a crush, but out of pure fear.

"Correct! So, this leads me to my next question: Why would your mother allow you to come here if you're just going to break the rules?" Taehyung stated.

"B-sut I-I, sir it was just one tardy I was on my-"

"-Look. I don't want any more excuses from you," Taehyung shouted, "Since it's the last class I have for today, I'd be more than happy to give detention to you every day until you are matching your other peers. An hour sounds about right doesn't it?"

Taehyung's command sounded through the classroom walls and Jungkook's voice was all but silenced. He nodded willingly and went back to his seat to dreadfully stay in the classroom for another hour.

Taehyung walked back and sat back down to do some paperwork. "You can pass the time by studying for my class if you want. Or nap. Whichever you think is going to benefit you in the long run." Jungkook looked towards the door and the window. The glamorous afternoon sun was funneling into the room but Jungkook did not see a single soul in sight. He eventually unpacked his books onto the table and got to studying.
