Lexi P.O.V

I was still confused about the whole riley thing..jessie said something about a bet she made?...but what does that have to do with me?..

Well im on my skateboard riding home when suddenly i hear someone call my name. I stopped and turned around and saw jessie jogging towards my way.

my first thought was to run away and avoid him like brenda said but i want to find out what they're hiding from me so i stayed.

"yes can i help you?" i said

"i want to finish what i was saying earlier if you dont mind" he said a lil out of breath. I thought about it and had a feeling that i shouldn't talk to him but i need to find out.

"sure go ahead" i said

"okay...yesterday riley made a bet that she can make you fall in love with her...then after she knows that you are..she was gonna break your heart and dump you" he said sadly

i cant believe what he just said.. i dont know what emotions im going through.. i feel used,sad,angry and most of all brokenhearted..

"b-but how do you know this?..because ive heard of you jessie..and you're a lier,mean and conniving kid" i said having a lil hope that all of this is some kind of sick joke.

"look i have a recording of her saying it..now i know you hear bad things about me but thats because nobody knows me..just listen to it ok" he said handing me the recorder..

i pressed play and listened to it.

"you gonna make lexi fall in love with you?"

"okay ill do it"

He was right.. i dropped the recorder and ran..i left my skateboard too.

"lexi waiiit!!" jessie yelled after me

but i dont care.. i kept running

i ran all the way home.. got in the house and ran straight upstairs to my room..i cried all day and fell asleep...

i woke up with tear stained cheeks.

i went in my bathroom and washed my face then brushed my teeth..

i looked at the clock and it said 9:35pm....i got out of school at 1:00pm...ive been sleep for about 9 and a half hours..man ive must've been tired..i went to my bed and grabbed my phone..i had 4 missed calls and 33 text messages from riley. i was so angry when i saw her messages that i threw my phone and it literally broke in half..

i dont care..im hurt and most of all heartbroken..

i was starting to get hungry so i went downstairs to make something to eat.

i just made some cereal since i was to lazy to cook...as i was eating i heard the doorbell...so i went to open the door and yeah you guessed it..its riley.

"h-hey babe..i heard what happened and i came here t-to talk to you because i-i swear what he said w-was a lie!" she said and i see a few tears sliding down her cheek..im not gonna lie i did feel bad but he had proof!! a recording.

"But riley...jessie had a recording!!

he had proof!..what do you got?!"

"if you really love me you should know that recording is fake"

"I think i know my ex girlfriend voice"

"e-ex?" she said and started to cry.

see now i sorta believe her because if the recording was real and the bet was real..she would've just said okay and walk away..but no she's actually in front of me crying...well was in front of me she took off running so i went after her.

"Riley Stop!" i yelled.. she stopped running and i finally caught up to her.

"Why are you chasing after me if you dont believe me?" she said with tears still running down her cheeks

"i do okay..i realized you were telling the truth because if you weren't you would have just walked away...and baby i am so sorry for not believing you" i said while holding her hands.

"I actually do have proof..you just didn't give me enough time to explain...i really love you and i never wanna lose you...i actually found someone that i really love and wanna spend the rest of my life with...why would i give that up or even jeopardize it?" she said looking sad

"I know baby..im so sorry and i really love you too..just please please forgive me" i said then kissed her..she wrapped her arms around my neck and pulled me close as i wrapped my arms around her waist...we kissed till we both needed air..

"yes i forgive you..jimmy,eric, and brenda knew about it because they was there and we were playing truth or dare" she said

"Wait..truth or dare?..jessie told me that you made a bet" i said getting confused

"umm no it was truth or dare...think about it..why would i make a bet with him and you know i cant stand him" she said chuckling

"wellllll you do got a point there" i said smiling

"yeah he dared me to do it..but i love you too much..i was never going to break your heart..i only said ill do it just for him to leave me alone"

"well its all good now...im just glad im not losing you" i said and kissed her cheek

"your right but i still wanna get him back for what he did" she said

"your right...we could beat him at his own game" i said smiling mischievously

"hmm i dont like the look on your face but ill give it a try so what you got?" she said

"okayy this what we'll do"

*The Next Day*

3rd P.O.V

Everyone's at lunch enjoying their food when suddenly..

"Attention my fellow students i am here to tell you how excited i am being in a relationship with my girlfriend Lexi Edwards!!" riley said

half of the students gasped in shocked while others smiled and started clapping.. soon the whole cafeteria cheered...

then riley got off the table and kissed lexi... the students cheered even louder!..jessie heard and came up to lexi and riley

"haha bad mistake girl" he said

riley got back on the table and said

"Also this dude here jessie luis almost made me and lexi break up!..he lied and said i made a bet that i can make lexi fall in love with me then break her heart!!..how evil is that??!...all because he cant get over me...he tried to ruin my love life! " she finished

The whole cafeteria boo'ed at him and threw food..the jocks chased him out..while he ran passed riley and lexi he yelled..

"This isn't over!!!"

"i love you" lexi said

"i love you too" riley said

Then they kissed

Aww such a sweet ending: ')
