-Imagine

You are over with your boyfriend at his flat just relaxing and watching a movie. You have been together for eight months and have been going strong. You are curled up on the couch and his arm is around you as you two sit and eat popcorn with the pitter patter of rain making the night just a bit better. "Babe I'll be right back." You nod as your boyfirend gets up and heads off to the bathroom. About two minutes later you hear his phone ring. You decide to check it so you could tell him when he got back what happened. You grabbed his phone and instantly your heart broke. It was a text message but not just any kind of text. It was from someone named 'Aubrey<33' You opened the text and tears formed in your eyes. It read- 'Hey babe movie night and everything is set up. Text me when you get rid of that ball and chain ;)' Next thing you knew your boyfirend had came downstairs and saw you. "(y/n) what are you-" You looked at him, tears threatening to fall and held up his phone. "Ball and chain huh? That's how you think of me?" He tried to come over to you but you got up and stepped back. "(y/n) I can explain!" He looked at you still trying to get closer. You shook your head and threw his phone at him. "We're done." You took one last look at him before running out of the flat. Your's was just a couple blocks away and you were so upset you ran home. Once you got there, you were sopping wet from the rain which was now a heavy dowpour but you didn't care. You walked up to your front door and just collasped. Harry Styles, your best friend was also your next door neighbor. He saw you outside and practically sprinted outside his house. He ran over to you, already soaking. "(y/n) What the hell are you doing out her in the-" He stopped once he noticed you were crying. You had pulled your knees to your chest and sat there. Once Harry noticed that you were crying, he dropped down next to you, pulling you into a hug. "Shhhhh. Don't cry (y/n). You are far to pretty to cry. What happened?" He cooed trying to calm you down enough to stop crying. He soothed you a bit but a few tears still fell. "It's nothing important Harry. You should go back inside." You looked at him trying to get him to go. Harry looked you straight in the eyes knowing when you were lying. "(y/n) If you are crying out in the rain, it's pretty damn important!" he said sternly. "Now what happened?" He asked helping you to stand up and leading you into your home. You sighed knowing that he would've gotten out of you at some point had you resisted. "It's my boyfriend." You said closing the door. Harry tensed up. He never did like him. "What did he do?" He said through gritted teeth, balling his fists. "Did he hurt you? (y/n) I swear to God if he hurt you I'm going to kill him!" You put your hands on Harry's shoulders a bit scared and tried calming him down. "No Harry. He didn't hurt me." You looked down and swallowed. "He... He cheated on me." You took your hands away and sighed sitting on the floor bringing your knees to your chest again. A few tears escaping. "We've been together for eight months. I thought we were doing good." You burried your face in your knees and didn't even notice Harry sitting down next to you. "You deserve someone better (y/n)" You looked at him, your eyes red and puffy. "Yeah, like who?" There was a long pause as Harry stared into your eyes. "Me." He muttered softly before gently, and softly kissing your lips. After a bit you moved in sync with him untill he pulled away. "(y/n) I swear on my life I would never hurt you in any way, and I've been liking you for a long time now and I was just wondering if you would be mine?" He said bitting his bottom lip afterwards. You wrapped your arms around his neck in a hug. "Of course Harry." You whispered into his shoulder. He hugged you back and whispered into your ear. "I'll never let anyone hurt you again." Your best friend now boyfirend, Harry Styles. The one always there for you.
