Justin and Jacque cleaned out the house for their family weekend. Soon, the weekend turns into chaos.Jacque POV
I laid in my bed and smiled. I looked through my phone. I literally cleaned up the living room and Justin washed the dishes. We had to do everything for everybody to come. I'm pretty sure our siblings are used to our mess cause they grew up with it. They were downstairs while Daniel was in Justin's room. Deana and Lexi were in my room. Deana was on my laptop while Lexi watched TV. We figured the adults talk downstairs while the teens are up here. We met Daniel and he's a sweet guy. He looked just like mom and dad as if he's our other brother. He was 15 too. We heard a glass break. We jumped. "What was that?" Lexi asked. "I don't know!" I said. We left the room. It came from mom and dad's bedroom. We looked and saw Daniel holding a half broken glass stick. His other hand was bleeding. My jaw dropped. "Daniel, what the hell happened?" I asked. He smiled nervously. "I'm sorry. I was just playing with the glass rose till my hand went out of control." He said. Deana's jaw dropped. "Is that your mama's glass rose from her dresser? She said your dad got her that." She said. Oh lord, she'll be angry once she knows Daniel broke it. I grabbed the stick and put it on the dresser. "We can't let mom find out!" Lexi said. "Guys, what's going on?" Someone said. Oh hell. We saw Cody and Caleb close to the stairs. I fake smiled. "Nothing. That sound was the TV. Daniel turned the volume up in his room till I turned it down." I lied. They nodded and walked away. "Somebody get the first aid kit for him." I said. Lexi went in the cabinet and found the kit. Daniel followed her to the bathroom to help clean his hand. Justin came up the steps. I growled. "Where were you?" I asked. He shrugged. "I was downstairs with everyone. You need to as well. Paul said he wants to see his baby sister." He said. I tried hard not to laugh. Justin chuckled. He looked around. "Where's Daniel?" He asked. Deana fake smiled. "In the bathroom where Lexi's cleaning his bleeding hand from breaking mom's glass rose." She said. "Whoa, is he ok?" He said. I nodded. "Just hope there's no more crap." I muttered. They came out the bathroom. Lexi rubbed his back as Daniel cried a little loud. "What's wrong buddy?" Justin asked, rubbing his hair. Lexi smiled sadly. "I cleaned the blood but his hand burned from the shot I gave him. Otherwise, his hand would've oozed out blood everywhere." She said. Aww, poor baby. Justin hugged him as he cried. "Daniel, stop crying. Its ok." I said in a soothing voice. He stopped and wiped his eyes. "His hand will heal in about two days. Thank god. It would've been worse." Lexi said. Deana patted his shoulder. "Cmon, buddy. Wanna play video games?" Justin asked. He nodded and they went back to his room. 'Finally, this is over.' I thought.
We almost went back to my room. "Jacque!" Mom said. She was on the stairs. I groaned. "Yes?" I said. "Your siblings are here. They asking about you...well Ashlie and Paul. Come down here." She said. "But Daniel's here. He would want to play with us. That's why he came to visit." I said. She crossed her arms. "Your siblings also came for that so come down here." She said. I looked at her. "Mom, they're grown. They don't do that anymore." I said. "Nope. You're not babies anymore but you're still the youngest so young lady, get your butt down here and see your brothers and sisters." She slightly growled. I sighed and walked downstairs. "You too girls." She said, referring to Deana and Lexi. They followed behind. We went in the living room. They smiled at us. I smiled at Ashlie. "Hey ash!" I said. We hugged. She giggled. "Hey little sis. How are you?" She said. "I'm good. I missed you." I said. Deana and Lexi greeted Paul. I looked at him. Oh lord, here it comes. I smiled. "Hey Paul." I said. His jaw dropped. "Oh my god! Stop growing up!" He said. Everybody laughed. We hugged and he spun me around. "Its too late. They'll be 18 bro." Cody said. Paul rolled his eyes. "Don't ever grow up. I love my baby sister." He said. I chuckled. He's such a sweet and genuine person like I thought he be. Ok, forget the last part. My phone buzzed in my pocket. I took it out. It was Drew. I ran out the room and answered it. "Hello?" I said. "Hey. Do you have time to talk?" He asked. I shrugged. "I don't know. I'm downstairs with my siblings and my cousin visiting. Where are you?" I said. "I'm literally outside your door." He said. Wait, he's outside my house?! I looked back at everyone chatting and laughing. I can't let them know he's here. "Jacque, who was that?" Deana asked. I huffed. "Its Drew. He's outside and wants to talk. Can you and Lexi distract the others?" I said. She nodded. "But you can't literally step out of the house. They'll think someone's out the door." Lexi said. I groaned. My brain clicked. "My bedroom window is close to the ground. I can go through there." I said. She nodded. "K." She said. I quickly ran upstairs. I went in my room and opened my window. It was close to the ground. I smiled. I tried to get out. Drew looked up and saw me. He smiled and opened his arms. "Why are your arms open?" I asked. "So you won't fall." He said. I scoffed. "I'm not gonna—I got cut off by slipping off the ledge and fell. Drew caught me and I fell on his stomach. Ok, that was funny! I laughed. I got off him and brushed myself. He did the same. I kept laughing. He chuckled. "You ok?" He asked. "Yes," I said, giggling. I took a deep breath. We looked at each other in silence. I cleared my throat. "Um, why you came?" I asked. "First of all, I'm sorry. I know I did nothing wrong but I am. We haven't been together lately...I can't help not doing anything with you. Jacque, you're the most enjoyable thing in my life. And it sucks not that having that enjoyable person in my life. I love you." He explained. I sighed. Honestly, I love him so much. I really hate we've been drifting lately. Drew was the very first love I found. If we drift, what does that leave us? I cupped his face with my hands. "Drew, you're the enjoyable thing in my life too. I can't help if we drift from each other. Please lets not drift...ever." I said. He smiled. We kissed passionately. He spun me around. I chuckled and kissed his lips. We parted. "I gotta go. Lexi and Deana is help distracting." I said. He slightly chuckled. "Let me help you get in." He said. I grabbed his hand and he lifted me on the ledge. I managed to get inside. I smiled. "I love you." I whispered. "Love you too." He said. He left and I closed the window. I sighed happily. Someone cleared their throat. I turned and screamed a little. Justin. He smirked. "So, how was the date?" He asked. I rolled my eyes. "It wasn't a date. He happened to call me to talk. Ok, its none of your business so leave." I said. He scoffed. "It is cause I'm your brother. Now, what did he say?" He said. I groaned. "Let's just say we won't be drifting apart cause we love each other. I don't wanna drift from him." I said. He nodded. "Where's Daniel?" I asked. "He went downstairs to get water because his hand was still hurting." He said. I huffed. "Justin, we can't let mom know he broke her glass." I said. He looked at me. "Yeah, so?" He asked. Clearly, he's not getting what I'm saying. "We can't let—I was cut off by another sound of broke glass. We quickly ran downstairs.
Our jaws dropped. A glass cup was broken on the floor. Mom was comforting Daniel and holding his bandaged hand. Cody and Caleb tried cleaning up the glass. "What...happened?" I asked. Mom crossed her arms. "Apparently, Daniel's hand is bandaged because he was playing with my glass rose and tried to grab a glass cup but dropped it." She said. Me and Justin looked at each other. Deana mouthed 'sorry' to me. Paul smirked. "Were you guys watching Daniel? Or you let him go to mom and dad's room?" He asked. Mom nodded in agreement. "Yeah. Were you guys watching him?" She said through gritted teeth. We looked at each other and fake smiled at them. "Of course! We did! Right Justin?" I said. He quickly nodded. "Yup. We were playing video games." He said. Daniel scoffed. "You actually went downstairs to see everyone so I wandered around the house. The girls were still in Jacque's room." He said. We groaned quietly. Mom fake smiled. "Good to know." She said. Dad crossed his arms and smirked. Paul and the guys chuckled. I rolled my eyes. Lexi sighed. "Overall, we helped him when he got hurt." She said. Mom looked at us. "You did?" She said. I nodded. Justin smiled. "Yeah. We even did chores before he got here. I even fixed the chandelier." He said. Suddenly, the chandelier started to sway and instantly fell to the floor. We screamed and got out the way. My jaw dropped. It was actually funny and kinda awesome. "Maybe I should've used a glue gun." Justin muttered. Mom and dad looked at us in shock. I huffed. Guess we're grounded.
