ALICE'S P.O.V

I woke up to my blaring alarm clock sitting up and trying to rub the look of exhaustion off my face. I didn't sleep well last night but I'm used to it, sleep isn't usually common in my house due to my parents working and stress the usual stuff I guess. Laying on my bed I looked over at the clock and groaned.

4:30 time to get up.

I sat up quickly to have my brain not let me make the decision to just stay in bed and skip school, as much as I hated it I knew the only way I'm gonna get out of this stupid town is if I get good grades so I can go to college.

Walking to the bathroom I quickly strip down and jump into the shower. As I feel the warm water move through the tangles of my hair it calms my nerves making it easier for my anxiety to subside so I can enjoy my shower. After about a half an hour or so I get out and wrap a towel around myself, jogging to my room to try and avoid the cold. I shut my door quickly and slowly take my towel off to dry my hair. I had saved an outfit last night, black skinny jeans, and a plain grey long sleeved shirt, my usual atire. After I got dressed I walked back to the bathroom to blow dry my hair and put on my makeup. I know what you're thinking "What you wear makeup!?"
I don't get all done up like everyone else, no- all I do is put on maskera and blush I'm not really into the whole "You have to wear a bucket of makeup on your face to look pretty" stuff, I know that I'm not beautiful so there is no sense in trying if I know I'll just look bad anyways.

I walked downstairs to the kitchen to see my mom talking on her phone to one of her clients, she's a social networking shareholder... no idea what it is still but it's not important, she says "if it pays enough money we're good" so. I look around for my dad but he is nowhere to be seen as usual, he is a writer and is usually in his office most of the day unless there is an emergency. We don't eat breakfast as a family anymore because of everyone's different schedules, and lack of my parents knowledge of cooking.
"Love you mom, love you dad." I say loudly. They don't acknowledge I'm there, as usual I guess. Instead of trying to get their attention I just deside to grab my backpack and leave. I try to slam the door a little loudly so they will know that I left. When I got in my car I noticed a shiny cherry black mustang roll down the street behind me. I couldn't see the driver but whoever it was they had a awesome car. Where I live there aren't many of those cars so whoever owns it must have come from somewhere else.

When I get to school I see the same car parked on the far side of the parking lot, well whoever it was must like walking it takes at least five to eight minutes to get across the parking lot.

Walking in the doors to the cafeteria to see my friend, only friend Christian. We have been friends since we were kids he's kinda been the only person who ever was nice to me or cared about me. As I sat down he smiled and moved his bag off the table.
"How aree you doin girly?" He asks playfully.
"Tired and already wishing the day was over."
"Come on, cheer up or I swear I will tickle you right here in front of everyone." He said throwing a carrot towards my direction.
"If you do I will murder you and regret nothing." I glare at him and throw the carrot back hitting him directly in the forehead witch makes me giggle slightly.
"Oh you think that's funny huh?" He smirks and grabs a handful of the carrots in his breakfast plate and throws all of them toward me then ducks under the table.
"I'm going to kill you." I say wiping the water from the carrots off my face. I move my leg around until I feel him then kick him until he gets out from under the table.
"Ow, ow hey I'm up I'm up sto-" I interrupt him by shoving a mini pancake in his mouth.
"Just shut up and stop being jackass." Rolling my eyes I take my sketchbook out of my bag and half heartedly sketch a bird.

After breakfast, well the morning was over I remembered that I needed to go to the office to get my new computer because one of the people in my art class spilt paint on it. While walking to the office my mind trailed off as if I were in a trance thinking about the day and what horrors came with it. I walked a bit faster not wanting to get into class too late but as I quickened my speed I fully ran into someone. I didn't know who it was but he caught me and grabbed my shoulders.
"Are you in a hurry or something? slow your pase." He said chuckling in a low tone. I studyed his face, he looked different than anyone who came to this school, more intimidating at least, I mean he looked beautiful but the scary kind of beautiful the kind that made your stomach churn when you look at them. He had shaggy blood red hair with his brown roots grown out a bit, he was very pale and tall kind of like Christian but this boy was more elegant than he was, Christian was handsome no doubt but whoever this boy was had more beauty.
"S-Sorry I just don't want to come into class with all of those staring faces as I enter." I try to laugh slightly but it comes out more like a sigh.
"Well I bet your face does get a lot of looks from the guys." He states winking at me.
"No it's more of a "hey look it's that creep from the back of the classroom" kind of look but nice try though." I smile and walk around him back the way I was going.
"Hey~ I never caught your name?" He asks polightly walking after me.
"Oh uh it-It's alice. What's yours?"
"Nice to meet you alice, I'm sonny." He reached out and shakes my hand.
"Nice to meet you as well sonny, now if you will exuse me I have to get my new computer now." I let go of his hand and continue walking trying to push the thoughts away that were making her itch with excitement. Maybe I could get a new friend so when Chris is gone I won't be alone, But who am I kidding nobody could like me in my own opinion.
