>>>>>HARRY<<<<<<
When Harry woke up, his eyes were red and he was tired from crying most the night. Why hadn't Louis come over? He put some makeup on to cover the bags under his eyes, and picked out an outfit. It didn't matter that he felt like shit, he was still at a new school and needed to look his best. He eventually decided on a pink polo shirt and a pair of kahkis. He walked into the kitchen in his socks, and gave his mom a hug.
"Hey pumpkin. You doing alright?"
"I've been better." Harry sat down at the breakfast bar and took a bite of the bagel sitting at his seat. His mom set a glass of orange juice in front of him and grabbed her shoes.
"I'm going out, okay cupcake? I'll be back by 7:05 to take you to school, so wait out front."
Harry nodded and began to put things carefully into his backpack. A little while later he pulled on his boater shoes and backpack, and went outside to wait. When he got to school, he walked into his choir class and took a seat next to a girl named Meredith.
"Hey, what'd I miss?"
The overweight girl adjusted herself on the bleachers and rolled her eyes. "Nothing but D ranting about the new song. We're starting it today."
As if on cue, a young man with a scraggly beard and ponytail came power walking into the room, clapping his hands loudly. "Stand up, lets get started."
>>>>>>LOUIS<<<<<<
Louis misses his alarm in the morning, and is instead yanked out of bed by the collar of his hoodie.
"Damn boy can't even get himself to school in the morning without a proper beating."
Louis' father reaches a fist up, and before Louis can react, it is connecting with the side of his face. He feels a blow to his stomach, and he is falling back onto his bed. He slumps against the wall, and hears the door slam.
"I'm going to work." His father grunts. Moments later, Louis hears the garage door open, and sees his dad's car driving away through the window. The pain in his head is becoming less exteme, and he sits up a little bit, holding his stomach. He groans, and tears sping to his eyes. He looks at the clock. 7:05. School has already started by now, and he figures that as long as he makes it to school before first period is over, it does'nt matter how late he is. He pulls on a pair of black skinny jeans and a hoodie, before fixing his signature beanie atop his head. He shuffles into the kitchen and grabs himself some ice for his head, and pours a bowl of dry cereal. It's not like Dad remembered to buy milk. When the clock reads 7:25, he slings his backpack over his shoulder and painfully walks out the door. It hurts too much to skateboard, so he has to walk, which will take longer than usual.
When he slumps into geography at 7:45, Mrs Sinclair gives him a death glare. "So nice of you to join us, Mr. Tomlinson. I'm glad you could make it to the last ten minutes if class." The death glare deepens, and some kids chuckle as she changes attendance.
Louis stalks over to a seat and drops his backpack on the floor with a thud. He wonders for a moment why the kid next to him is staring at him, when he remembers he forgot to put makeup on his eye. His hand flies up to his face to cover it as he realizes it's probably black by now.
Thomas nods. "Should have seen the other guy, huh?"
"Yeah." Louis chuckles and bits down on his lip hard to stop the tears.
