Simon's POV
I wake as the Sun shines through my black satin curtains onto my bed. Shit. It's 8:00 am, and school starts in 30 mins. I run to the bathroom to have a quick shower, get dressed, and run outside, practically swan-diving onto the bus. As I walk through the packed bus I see the only spot, next to a girl I have never seen before, who must be new. She is reading Looking for Alaska.
"Can I sit here" I ask the girl awkwardly.
" Yeah, sure". She replies, only slightly glancing up from her book. As I sat down she shuffled over to make a slight gap between us.
"Do you like the book?" I asked her trying to fill in the awkward silence filling the air.
"Yea although not just as good as abundance of Katherine's" she replied seeming like she didn't really want me to see into her dark soul.
" Same! Its just not as descriptive" I replied, finally someone who has the same point of view as me. I thought to myself.
The conversation went on and on until the bus came to a stop infront of Coverdale, just as the bell rang for home-group.
