Chapter 2- A night to remember.

So apparently long chapter it is.

Alleandro's POV.

I stared in shock as the beautiful lady walked towards the stage, captivating everyone with her beauty and elegance. A sudden surge of protectiveness flowed through me as I wanted to cover the eyes of all the men in the room that stared at her.

She climbed the podium and walked towards where I stood. As she came closer, my body felt warm all of a sudden as my traitorous heartbeat picked up its speed again.

She stood in front of me and it felt like the world stopped spinning. Perbacco (Gosh)!!! She smelt divine and up close, her beauty was mesmerizing. She gave me a seductive smile that awakened all my nerves and made my blood run down south.

She smirked at me as if she knew the effect she had on me before walking over to my manager. She stood beside him as he made other announcements but I had tuned him out as my gaze was solely on the lady beside him.

It wasn't until my brother cleared his throat and nudged me in the side that I turned my focus away from her.

I looked at him wondering when he stood beside me.

He leaned towards me and whispered in my ears. "Looks like you're the one needing protection tonight. If it were me, I would go the natural way. You know, pelle su pelle(skin on skin)."

"When did you get here? And what I do is none of your business." I gritted out.

"Well if you weren't so busy ogling that pretty lady over there, you would have noticed me, when I came to stand beside you." He replied.

The manager called his name to give the closing speech and he gave me a pat on the shoulder before he walked towards him.

"Thank you very much for gracing this event with your presence, and your unending support. We hope to see you next year, of course with a very special surprise. Have a wonderful journey back to your respective destinations. Grazie(Thank you) and Good night." He finished talking as the audience clapped.

I walked towards the manager and thanked him for anchoring the program and he replied enthusiastically before leaving.

Before I had the chance to meet the lady, I was bombarded by different people specifically ladies who came to congratulate me as well as stylishly show off their assets and figures.

" Alleandro honey, why don't we conclude this evening at my place. I have a lovely penthouse close by." The redhead earlier drawled in my ear and ran a manicured finger down my chest trying to look seductive.

I pushed her finger away "I'm sorry but I'm not interested. Now if you'll excuse me."

I excused myself from the group of ladies and looked towards the direction where the lady was but she wasn't there anymore.

I looked around the room trying to catch a glimpse of her but I didn't see her, except for my brother who grinned heartily as he was surrounded by different ladies. His gaze met mine and he winked before giving me a sly grin.

"Cazzo di giocatore. (Fucking player)." I muttered as I looked away from him and walked towards the exit.

I walked through the grand hallway and yet no sign of the lady. I felt so frustrated. I didn't even know her name.
