CHAPTER 1: A New Job
“Wake up, my sister! Wake up! You need to go now! You need to apply for a job!” Itsumaru wakes up her sister.
“I’m still sleeping. Don’t bother me…zzz...zzz..” his sister Izumi said drowsily.
“It’s 9:00!” her brother yelled.
“WHAT? 9:00? I really need to apply fast!” Izumi nervously shouted.
Izumi Karuko is a 21-year-old girl who lives with her younger brother Itsumaru. Their parents went abroad to have a job. Today is the day Izumi must consume for finding a job. She and her brother really need money, but their parents give them only ¥ 750 (P 419), which is not enough for their living.
Izumi quickly ate her breakfast and took a bath like a quick rabbit. She wore her orange suit and her high heels shoes. Then she called a taxi and went to the one of the most popular companies in Japan, the Hiroshi Company, to find a job.
She was amazed as she saw the big structure of the company. Because of that, she was inspired to get a job. Her only thought in her mind is to apply at the boss’s office.
As she walked inside, she remembered that she don’t know where is the office. She loses hope of having a job quickly. But a janitor saw her in surprise.
“Oh, I think you are having a trouble, young lady. Do you need some little assistance?” the janitor said slowly.
“Oh, sure. Can you please tell me where the boss’s office is?” Izumi happily said.
“Are you applying for a job?”
“Yes”
“Well, go to the 15th floor and go inside to the blue door.”
“Thank you!” Izumi thanked the janitor with a smile on her face.
She took the elevator and went to the blue door. She felt nervousness. But she said on her mind: “This is for me and my brother’s life. I need to take this job.”
CHAPTER 2: Meeting the Boss
“Knock! Knock!” Izumi knocked on the blue door.
“Come in!” a masculine voice answered.
Izumi opened the door slowly, and she appeared as the boss stared at her.
“Good morning. I am Kazuhiro Hiroshi, the owner of this company. Are you hiring for a job”
“Y-y-yes Sir, I am hiring for the job”
Her hands were shivering. She was amazed by the handsomeness of the man. The long fingers of his boss, his awesome grin, she was ecstatic!
“Can I see your resume?”
Izumi didn’t reply.
“Can I see your resume?” the boss said louder.
“Oh, I’m so sorry. Yes, you may.” Izumi quickly grabbed her resume and gave it to his “boss-to-be”.
“Hmm, you have good performances from your recent jobs, Ms. Karuko. You are now hired as my assistant secretary.” Kazuhiro said lively.
“T-th-thank you! I’m so glad!” Izumi shouted.
“You will start your job tomorrow, at 7:00 in the morning. Remember, I don’t want my employees to be late.”
“Yes Sir!” Izumi happily replied, as she went away with a big grin.
CHAPTER 3: Love at First Sight? Maybe.
