Lin Eun Mi, a book nerd by every definition. She was fair, and pretty. Smart and classy, she lived in Ilsan-ro libraries. That is after all where she met him. Kim Nam Joon; tall, dark hair, and a dimpled smile to tie his every presence together. He was smart, and genuinely sweet when they first met. Hands brushing by accident as they reached for the fifth installment of the Harry Potter series, and as a gentleman would, he let her have the book. The girl was thankful, the smile showing on her face. Nam Joon was the type of guy you can hold an intellectual conversation with. His demeanor calm and collected and his voice was like liquid honey.
Eun Mi was instantly taken with him, they chatted for a while over a mutual interest in books. Her favorite of any and everything Jane Austen, and his soft spot for Emily Brontë. They decided to meet up for coffee in the next week or so, to discuss the complexity of a Shakespearean sonnet titled Sonnet 116. They did in fact meet and they both enjoyed it thoroughly. They seemed to enjoy each other's company, so one meet turned into two, two into three. Eun Mi was in a bit of a predicament, she had developed a tinkling of emotions for him, nothing to terribly major but they were still there.
Today she was sitting in the fiction section looking over a few random books, when a calming voice was heard behind her one she was used to hearing daily by now. She blushed and thanked every remaining lord and lady out there he could not see her. "Fancy seeing you here, Mimi," Nam Joon drawled dimples once again becoming apparent. He was only a few minutes late compared to his normal time. The girl turned around slowly making sure the blush was fully sated.
"Heh, yeah," It was a simple reply, but she couldn't bring herself to care at the moment. She essentially was choked up, and it showed. Hair in her eyes, and her hand instantly going to play with her teddy bear bag she had made herself. Nam Joon was smitten, as he bit his lip to stop his smile from growing wider. "Joonie," she paused bit her lip before looking away from the tall man, "i-I need to tell you something, so you should listen," another pause, "I like you.."
If Nam Joon released a less than masculine noise it was nobody's concern. Eyes a light and smile even brighter, he pulled the smaller into a hug. A chuckle filling the air as he stroked her hair, before reciting, in perfect English to match her mixed nationality, "This is my confession, as dark as i am, I will always find enough light to adore you to pieces, with all of my pieces," he paused to let her ask who that was from before saying softly as he placed a kiss upon her head, "Jason Nguyen," and with a simple press of his finger under her chin to draw her attention back onto him, his lips pressed firm against hers.
A sweet kiss the two shared in the dimly lit section of the quiet library, in front of the many worlds written through another's thoughts and emotions. The words filling endless pages just like the two filled the empty gaps in their hearts with pieces of their counter parts. As the man realized just how much the other meant to him. For the first time his brain was empty only focusing on the girl he held gently in his arms. His lips tingling from where hers were pressed against. The moment was true bliss, and they felt their lips brushing even after they parted. Their cheeks flushed but they were perfectly content.
