Eijiro Kirishima had everything going for him. He had a strong quirk, he had good friends, and he was going to the best hero school in all of Japan.
So why did he change?
Why did someone who was always so happy, become insane?
Why did someone so kind become so heartless?
Well, to answer that you'd have to ask Katsuki Bakugo, or Eijiro himself.
Katsuki Bakugo knew it was his fault. He knew it was his fault that Eijiro left U.A High. He knew that he shouldn't have broken up with Kirishima in such a harsh way.
He shouldn't have broken up with him in the first place.
It started as a normal Friday. Katsuki was walking home with Eijiro, like usual. To Eijiro, everything was amazing, normal.
Katsuki on the otherhand, felt as though he wasn't enough for the boy beside him. He felt Kirishima deserved someone like Denki, no matter how much his heart screamed at him that he needed Eijiro.
Suddenly Katsuki stopped walking and grabbed Eijiro's arm, "Kirishima."
"Yeah Bakugo?" He turned to the explosive blond with a smile. His smile faded quickly. Katsuki's expression was sollem, upset.
"What's wrong-?"
"I can't do this."
"...Wh-What do you mean Katsuki?"
"I mean that you and I are done Eijiro."
Eijiro stared at Katsuki, his heart breaking at those words. "But why..?"
"I....Your not good enough. I can't be with you, because your not on my level. You'll never be good enough Eijiro. And I can't keep lying to you anymore."
Eijiro felt his eyes water and he pulled his arm away, "Katsuki your ly-lying."
"I'm not. You'd be better off as a villian."
Eijiro froze at those words, his entire world stopping. What did he do to deserve this?
"Don't talk to me ever again, Kirishima."
And Eijiro did just that. But not in the way he expected.
The first day Kirishima wasn't in class, everyone thought he was sick.
Day two, red flags were raised. Everyone knew Kirishima never skipped more than a day of school.
Day three, Mina had enough. She went to Kirishima's dorm.
And all she found was a bloody sink, and several holes in the wall.
Her first thoughts were, 'My friend is dead!'
But as she looked closer, she realized that, no, her friend wasn't dead.
Her friend had attepted suicide, failed, and left.
Her friend was gone.
After about a month, they're class gave up searching. They turned to Katsuki for answers, but got none.
About a year later, a new villain by the name of Red Riot was on the news.
And it was that day, that Katsuki Bakugo realized he ruined the one person who deserves to be Number One more than himself.
He's the one who made Eijiro Kirishima a villain.
And he'll never forgive himself.
