"Ughh" I mumble dragging myself out of bed. It's gonna take me a while to get used to getting up so early.
After I finish showering and brushing my teeth I start undoing the braids I put in my head last night to curl my hair. I then got dressed and went downstairs to meet my mama and sister.
"Hey Nari " Kenken says eating her waffles.
"Hey Kenken , Hey ma" I say walking into the kitchen.
"Hey baby" My mama says looking at her phone
"So you doing drill team this year?" She asks
"Yeah, I even got Lili to tryout with me" I say
"Oh lord now that's something I need to see" She laughs.
"When y'all first performance?" She asks
"In about 3 weeks, we go against lake view so we having a pep rally then the game after school" I say
"Okay I'll be there" She says
Once I get to school I have someone take my picture.

"Hey" He says licking his lips as I walk up
"Wassup" I say
"So how long you wanna keep this a secret " He asks pulling me into a hug
"Idk..." I say looking around . Me and Tristian been "talking" for a while now but we haven't told anybody. I feel like it would just make things weird between all of us.
"Well whatever you want you I'm cool with it" He says
"Aww that's why I love you" I say kissing him on the cheek
