James p.o.v
The soft noise of the rain patting against the window is all that was audible. I rode the school bus alone. I was always the first stop, meaning I lived the furthest away.
I had no problem with this, however, my ear phones broke meaning I could only listen the few noises that erupted from the bus.
My eyes became heavy as boredom took over my body. My arms started to feel like dead weight as I slouched down further into my seat. School was never really much of a bother to me. I got to see my friends and I'm not exactly the dumbest kid in the school.
My eyes slowly closed as I drifted off slightly. The sounds around me started to fade as slouched back further into my seat at the very back of the bus.
The bus came to a halt, sending me forward. My head hit the seat in front of me causing me to groan. Great, now I'm going to have a lump on my forehead. If that's not going to make people stare at me I don't know what will. I rubbed the forming bruise softy, tilting my head up to see whose stop we were at.
The bus never stopped here before. The person must be new. I was never really good with new people. I guess I came on a little too strong, so I ended up scaring them away. I don't really need new friends however, I have my little group. However our ages varied so I never had classes with them.
I began to get comfortable in my seat but my eyes diverted back to the bus doors.
I stopped breathing, taken aback by the view in front of me. A young boy. He looked about my age with soft, wet, slightly curled hair, that hung over his pale face. He walked up to the bus driver, muttering a few words before swiftly, moving his hair from his eyes. His eyes glistened a smooth hazel colour. He wore a maroon sweatshirt and gray skinny jeans, both clinging to his small frame and water dripped, creating a small puddle on the floor beneath him.
He turned swiftly to face me. Probably feeling someone's eyes on him. I didn't care that I was staring, the sight was worth getting caught. A small smile tugged at his lips and he slowly began to walk towards me. My hands became sweaty as I quickly shoved them onto my pockets. Was he going to talk to me?
The boy awkwardly moved forward, obviously nervous. I smiled at him as came closer. His movements were delicate, as he slightly swayed his hips.
"H-Hi" His voice was shaky, but was the perfect pitch. Everything about this boy was perfect. He was perfect. As you can tell by now, I am gay. All of friends know but it's not something I want the whole school to know. However I would never object to showing affection to this boy I'm public, I would show him off proudly.
"Hi" I replied quietly. My body trembled knowing that the boy of perfection was standing right in front of me.
By now the bus had continued on its path, causing the boy to stumble forward. He leaned over me, holding my shoulders for support. His eyes widened as he saw how close our faces have become. My whole body heated up as I saw his pale, delicate face only a few inch away from mine. His cheeks had turned a light shade of red as he bit his bottom lip. I would have gave anything to run my finger over them before planting a soft, gentle kiss, showing him all the emotion that was traveling through my body and mind.
He stood up straight, his eyes not looking at me but at his soaked red shoes.
"Sorry" He muttered before turning away from me, probably to take a seat closer at the front.
"Wait" I semi yelled, unable to contain my disappoint for the boy leaving. "Why don't you sit up here" I offered, giving the boy a reassuring smile.
