Chapter 5: Spike

Third person's POV

It's an ordinary day. The usual training day for athletes.

Ateneo's blue eagles and Lady eagles have their everyday practice. Hindi naman same time nauna na ang basketball team today they are on their way back to their dorm when women's volleyball team arrive at the gym.

"Hi jia!"-- anton

At siguro magiging daily routine na rin ni anton ang asarin si jia.

"Wooh. seems like hindi lang si ly at von ang loveteam sa teams natin ah. Yieeh."-- kiefer

At like the old times nagsimula na naman mag-asaran. Pero may isang tao atang naghahanap kay alyssa na absent for today's practice dahil she's not feeling well.

"Den, where's Alyssa? Is she not coming?"-- von

"She's not feeling well today e."-- den

"Ah. I hope she's gonna be fine soon."---

"Yeah, we hope so."--

After some chikahan moments kiefer and his team finally says their goodbyes.

"By the way, den is Alyssa alone sa dorm?"-- kief

"Yeah. Kulit nga e, I said sumama na lang pero gusto magpaiwan."--

"Maybe she needs to rest. "--

On the other side of usapan.

"Ate Ella, may sakit si ate aly? Ngayon lang ba?."-- anton

"Hala, kahapon pa yun may sakit sinama lang namin kahapon e. Ayun dorm sya ngayon."--

"Sayang wala akong number ni Phenom, tetext ko sana. "--

"Hingin mo close na kayo e."--

Hindi rin nagtagal naghiwahiwalay na sila to go on their own businesses.

Von and Anton's conversation.

"Punta ka na ngayon?"-- anton

"Ha?"-- von

"Kay ate aly?"--

"Why would I?"--

"I just thought you're worried. I maybe wrong. Gotta Go bro. May quiz kami today."---

Then, anton and Von went to their classes.

Von admitted to him self he is worried, he really wants to visit Alyssa but he thinks it's not right, to think their friends but it's different when you're a girl and a boy.

"If only I had her number."-- von tells him self.

Von thought it will be okey lang naman to be worried for your friend, right?

Von and Anton have agreed to Go to their favorite restaurant for dinner after their class.

Von had an early dismissal so he texted Anton he will be there early but on his way he saw a new restau so he texted Anton na dun nalang sila kumain. The place looks comfy and because it's new konti pa lang ang taong andun. So he thinks it's the best place for him lalo pa na parang may kulang sa kanya nung araw na yun. It's like he wants to do something but he didn't he shouldn't do....

He's on his way inside when he saw the person he really wants to see for that day.

It's Alyssa and his ex.

So, instead of going in, he went back to his car and drove back to their dorm. When he arrived wala pa ang mga teammates niya. Nice, he need silence. He thinks. But he doesn't want to think further. So..........

''I think I need some sleep."---

He's off to dreamland when he remember something..

"Sus. Baka ma- spike ka."---

Ugh. Not now. But.......

Na- spike nga ata.
