A company of a person matters so much more than anything. Living amongst people full of negativity, problems and darkness makes you the same way as them. It changes who you are. Something like that, happened to him. My father, he was the most joyful person i knew. Those two years in that suffocated place known as a jail, ruined him. He wasn't the same person anymore. The one part that got us all twisted was, that he was pretending, the whole time to be like us, to be normal - just so, no one would send him where he belongs. Where psychos belong..

Fast forward to the day he entered our lives as a completely different person. One fine afternoon, I was rushing to my room to play my Xbox and enjoy my own space. Yelling my name, my aunt comes into the room, and says "Your dad's comiiinggg" and i rush to everyone else with her downstairs and it felt like a whole different atmosphere. Everyone was smiling and looking at me as if I had added some value to their lives. Suddenly, the careless ones were caring! Iconic, isn't it? We sat down in a group in the lounge and waited for him to come back. Our hearts were out of our chests. It felt like something unusual or unpredicted would happen. Each person that would walk up from that door, would make our heart skip a beat, and we'd sigh and lay back to the sofas. This time, he walked in and we weren't disappointed nor did we sighed. He came back with his brothers holding his shoulders and his smile, his smile gave me teary eyes. Everyone greeted him and he did the same, obviously. The second he reached to me, he got down on his knees, smiled at me and hugged me and all i could possibly think was "Dad, where were you for two whole years?" and I broke down. I was just eleven years old. How is it possible for an eleven year old to remember every second spent without his/her father? Well, I certainly did.
After all the greetings made, kisses given, smiles passed, we sat down together and we just couldn't stop smiling. It was inevitable. I was sitting with him. I couldn't stop staring at him. I couldn't stop thinking of how every second my mother had been without him and every time he'd find me staring, he'd smile at me and.. nothing else. We dined together and it was an hour after that, that everything got back to how it was. Everyone started minding their own businesses. We all went to our own rooms as if nothing had happened. He was back after two years, yet it was just a matter of hours that everyone in the house; my grandparents, my aunts and uncles, gave importance to that fact!
Like i said before, your company makes you who you are. It changes you and enlightens or darkens your soul. Just after a month later, we couldn't believe he was the same person who left us. It was different. It was.. shocking..
