Kody POV

Fuck  I just fuck up did I .why did I have to ask that question.
"Um look at the time we have to go take care of the little kids"I said changing the subject to not make him feel even worse
"Oh yeah um your right"
He got up and walked out the room first
I really messed up  did I when I first saw him he was this shy and a happy person but when he said that he looked so sad
I'm dumbass
I got up and went to take care of the kids
When I got to the room when the kids went to me
"Hi I'm ash what your name"
"It kody"
"Ok koby"
"No it kod-" she walked away before I could finish.
I saw Lumine he was coloring with some of the little kids
A group of kids came and asked me
" hey can you come build with us"
"Sure"
We played with building blocks
Even though it's my first day here I feel welcomed all the kids welcomed me. We're done taking care of all the kids it was around 10 pm. Me and Lumine walked to our room and fell asleep.  We didn't talk much
It's pretty awkward between us. In the morning I woke up rather early. I got my sketchbook and so Drew what I saw on the room I drew Lumine side of the room. All of his posters he had a poster of the Wolf and the cat
I had some book Stacked beside his bed . I drew him he was dead asleep. When I was done sketching it . I got a little hungry so I went downstairs to check if anyone was in the kitchen. I want downstairs and I saw Elijah but he didn't see me I quickly went back to our room I didn't want to see Elijah ever when I came back to our room Lumine was already awake.
" where did you go Kody when I woke up you were in here"
"Oh I just went to the kitchen to get some something to eat"
" what did you eat"
" oh I didn't get anything Elijah was in the kitchen"
" oh um do you want me to go get you something to eat so you don't have to confront him"
"Yes please"
He walked downstairs to the kitchen
Why the fuck can't I do anything. He had to go to the kitchen because I can't go because of Elijah. I so useless
I started to cry
Lumine walked in
"K-kody are you ok"
"Oh yes I'm ok "
"Kody please tell me what wrong"
