It was a regular Saturday morning for Ex-Viner-turned-Youtube-commentator-sensation Danny Gonzalez. Well, it was as normal as it could be for a person whose wife had just been reported missing after her mission in the Afghanistan war a few days prior. He sighed, staring sadly at the picture frame of the two of them that sat on the coffee table opposite him. When would his wife return from the war...?
Suddenly, there was a knock at the door. Danny hastily got up to answer it.
There in the doorway stood Ex-Viner-turned-Youtube-commentator-sensation Drew Gooden. Danny's breath hitched. This was due to the fact that Drew Gooden was not only an Ex-Viner-turned-Youtube-commentator-sensation, but he was also an Ex-Viner-turned-Youtube-commentator-sensation-who-stole-Ex-Viner-turned-Youtube-commentator-sensation-Danny-Gonzalez's-heart. And there he was, unexpectedly standing in his doorway, wearing some very nice looking athleisure wear.
"Uh, hi Drew. What are you doing here?" Danny said very stupidly.
"I just lightly jogged all the way from my Zumba class. I have something I need to tell you." Drew replied, just slightly out of breath. Danny nodded, only half listening as he absentmindedly traced the sharp jawline of Drew's face with his eyes. It was a very sharp jawline indeed.
"I was uh, wondering if you would let me in." Drew replied sheepishly, shifting his weight from one foot to another. Danny snapped back into reality.
"Oh, uh, yeah. Sure. I can uh- make some coffee for you if you want. Or microwave some gatorade or something." He said, inviting Drew to come inside in a welcoming manner.
"Do you have the blue flavour?" Drew replied as he began to take of his shoes.
"Yeah, actually I think I do." Danny smiled, taking a mental note of his crush's preference.***
"The truth is, during my Zumba class, I had a bit of an epiphany."
Yes. As he was furiously doing squats and knee lifts to a high tempo remix of Despacito, Drew Gooden had come to the realisation that for the past few weeks, he had not been thinking about the high number of calories he was burning, or what to have for his post workout snack. Instead, as the sweat dripped of his very sharp jawline, he was picturing the surprised face of his friend Danny- him admiring how toned his calves had become, or marvelling at his new-founded limberness and flexibility. He imagined the two of them working out together, and laughing with the other Zumba attendees over some coffee. He found himself smiling through the pain of a thirty second plank as he pictured Danny wearing his athleisure leggings after forgetting his own pair at home. Previously, he had indulged himself with these thoughts as he was sure that that was just what came as a package with the testosterone filled gym bro lifestyle that he recently adopted. But as he desperately tried to keep up with the gym instructor, another thought drifted into his mind, tantalising a new idea. Perhaps he didn't see Danny as just a friend. Perhaps he saw him as something...more?"I... I guess my brain thought that the best way to deal with these, emotions- was to deny that they even existed." He sighed, cradling his steaming cup of Gatorade. "But my heart can't stand any longer." Drew stared deeply into Danny's #9BD4F5 (light blue) eyes. "I think I love you, Danny." Danny let out a small gasp, unsure of how to react to this confession. Drew quickly continued. "I know that you're going through a lot right now. And I'm here for you if you need me. And-" He reached out and timidly placed a hand of Danny's arm. "If you don't feel the same way, I understand. If you say so, I'll never mention anything about this again. I just needed to get this off my chest." There was silence as Danny only nodded, his #9BD4F5 eyes contrasting against his now #F08080 (bright coral) cheeks.
Suddenly, with a loud bang, followed by a loud slap, the front door fell off its hinges. A large cloud of grey smoke billowed into the room. A large black boot stepped out of the smoke, into the living room, followed by another large black boot. These boots were attached to a pair of legs, which was attached to a torso, which was attached to a face. There were arms there too. This face, however, was the face of... Logan Paul?!
Danny leap up onto the couch, in a fighting stance. He had learnt said fighting stance from the weekly Adult Beginner Karate classes he had taken in attempts to get some more fitness in. Drew on the other hand just sat there, dumbfounded, as his Zumba classes had unfortunately only taught him how to unlock his inner zest and funk.
"What are you doing here, Logan Paul?!" Danny barked.
"I should be asking you the same question, Danny Gonzalez." Logan replied, pointing a finger at him.
"I LIVE HERE." The budding yellow belt karate master replied.
Ignoring the retort, Logan looked toward Drew, who was at this point contemplating joining the Adult Beginner Karate class with Danny, seeing as his amazing ability to pop and lock it was not exactly helping his situation. Taking the opportunity, Logan swooped in and grabbed Drew by the waist, hoisting him up over his shoulder."Hey! Let me--Go!" Drew struggled, kicking his feet in the air.
"No can do bro. You're coming with me." The Paul brother continued, sharply turning on his heel and making his way out of the door.
"W-wait! Give him back!" Danny leapt off the couch and tried to run towards the kidnapper. However, he found that he was unable to proceed, hindered by an invisible wall. Logan looked over his shoulder.
"I hope you like force field I put up." He smirked. "They're available on my merch store. But you wouldn't know about that, would you?"And with that, he and Drew Gooden disappeared into thin air, leaving behind only a trail of grey smoke.
